Decorated in cool grays, blues, and whites provide a calming and contemporary feel. Centrally located to festivals, Beach, and Rockport's Heritage and Arts District. Also located along the Parade route. All photo's of the home are taken Post Harvey.
I wanted every part of this house to say “relaxation” using the home's surroundings as inspiration to create the ultimate spot for rest and relaxation. With the celebration of natural light, I imagined to create a contemporary retreat, much like a relaxed day on the beach. The living room boasts a spacious seating area for friends and family to gather, and its bright and breezy coastal style transports you straight to the beach. I hope I created a relaxing atmosphere for you to enjoy, as it was a joy to create! Located on E. Market street, this home is only 3 streets from the Bay. The home was named after the previous owner's grand daughter was visiting, and the Parade started right in front of the house. I though it was so charming, it will always be known as "The Parade House".
Home is on E. Market street just a few streets from Downtown Rockport, and Rockport's Harbor Lighted N. & S. Jetty Pier - Travel to the end of Rockport Harbor & walk, or fish along the jetties late in the evening or early in the morning. The S. Jetty Pier is at end of E. Market St. The Neighborhood is also at the heart of Parades, and downtown activity. Grocery stores (H-E-B) and Walmart are less than a mile away. There are restaurants in the downtown area (Austin St.) and if you need more wine, ice, or spirits, Spanky's is a half minute drive or short walk at the end of E. Market. Getting around: Golf carts can be rented for a look around. (Harbor Carts in Fulton @ 877 TX BIRDS. Visit Texas’ first one-mile-long Blue Wave Beach with picnic cabanas, restroom facilities, wildlife sanctuary, boat ramps, fitness trail, Saltwater Pavilion, Beachfront Pavilion fishing piers and a fantastic playground for the children or play a game of volleyball. Other things to note Market street may be busy during weekends, and festival weekends because we're so close to shopping, fishing, Festival grounds, and the beach. The home however is very quiet inside, and when you're in the back yard, you don't hear anything. It's like a small town though, it gets quiet in the evening hours. Also, the backyard is fenced, but please, always be your own judge on your pups behavior. (digging, jumping) No fence is dog proof if your pup is prone to that. Dogs are not allowed in the home without their people there unless they are kenneled. This protects the furniture. My dogs are saints, but when I'm gone.... it's party like it's 1999.
