Sitting just above 10,500 ft elevation, the cabin boasts two decks both with stunning mountain views along with a hot tub on the front deck, perfect for soaking up the amazing, panoramic views while “soaking” your cares away! Moose Creek Ponds cabin sits on 15 beautiful acres that feature 5 meandering ponds from Moose Creek along with beautiful views of Mount Bross and other mountain vistas. Kick on a pair of snowshoes in the winter and enjoy the serenity of the snow-blanketed property or take a summer hike through the beautiful scenery, enjoying the wildflowers on the property.
Getting to the property year-round is easy with well-maintained roads year long and even better is the bonus that you can get to this property from either I-70 or HWY 285 in the same amount of time - which is a huge advantage traffic-wise - and the drives are stunning in scenery! 4WD or AWD is a must during the winter months.
From DIA via HWY 285 one way takes about 2 hours without traffic.
From DIA via I-70 one takes a little over 2 hours without traffic.

Moose Creek Ponds cabin is only a short, 25-minute, scenic drive from downtown Breckenridge and 50 minutes from Dillion (Dillion Reservoir). Easy access whether you come I-70 or HWY 285. The cabin is perfectly situated for year-round enjoyment. Endless winter and summer recreational activities nearby. Situated at the base of Mount Bross, hiking some of Colorado 14-ers couldn’t be closer: four 14-ers (Mt. Bross, Mt. Democrat, Mt. Cameron, and Mt. Lincoln) are literally in our backyard with a short drive allowing you to hike all four in one day!! In the winter, you can’t beat the ease of the short drive into Breckenridge for world-class skiing. For those hunting and fishing enthusiasts, enjoy the nearby stocked trout pond as well as several popular fishing reservoirs (Dillion, Montgomery, Antero, Tarryall) and national forest access less than a mile away. Plan a day trip to near by hot springs of Mt. Princeton or Cottonwood Hot Springs.
The cabin can also be a great base camp for exploring many of the nearby attractions the great state of Colorado has to offer - all within a short day-trip drive, such as the fun mountain town of Buena Vista, the Great Colorado Sand Dunes, hot springs in Salida, and some of the old mining ghost towns famous in Colorado’s history.
