Beautiful Villa in a stunning location
We have been coming to this villa for a family holidays for a few years now. The pictures don't do it justice or show how massive the villa is, especially the outside areas. The views are breath taking. Its a 3 minute walk into the heart of the village where there are lots of bars/ restaurants/shops. Its approx. 30/40 mins drive from airport. There are a few steps down to get to the villa off the road. Roll on December !
Beautiful house in a magnificent location. Walk to shops, 3 min drive to big supermarkets.
We had 10 people staying and ran short of hot water sometimes. Pool was at 24 degrees as stated but 24 degrees is cold. Good kitchen but lacking large pots and pans for feeding 10. We asked for some and one big pot was delivered. Had to park our car outside as owner does not allow the gates to be opened. There was a dreadful sewage smell in the ground floor bedroom for the duration of our stay but workmen were working on this in the street. It seemed to affect the whole area. We were just unlucky on this one. Broadcast Television in lounge is unwatchable as it freezes every few seconds and the other televisions are not connected to sky, only DVD's. Four stools in kitchen only, the other two were broken and stored in the pantry. Welcome pack consisted of the smallest and cheapest goods and Cava available. At £4.400 a week its too much money for the problems listed.
Los Gigantes is definitely Tenerife´s best kept secret, surrounded by magnificent views, ideal for a relaxing holiday in paradise, with probably the best climate on the sub tropical island with a great variety of quality restaurants, including the harbour where an excellent range of fresh seafood and fish is on offer daily. There are some lovely black sandy beaches in the area and water sports for the more active include, diving, snorkelling, fishing, sailing, boat trips, dolphin cruising or whale watching.
