A beautiful historical house, updated for comfort and a cozy stay, It is a side by side duplex, built in 1835. The owner lives in the adjoining home on the other side. Guests enjoy two private entrances, a private patio and a private kitchen.
Although the house is one block from the center of town, shopping, restaurants, theater, antique shops, galleries, etc it is quiet and has a private setting. A walk down the garden path to your private entrance, takes you into a country kitchen/dining and a comfortable living area with mantels carved by Conrad Burgess and original wood floors. This house is called the sister house to the North House Museum. An third bedroom and en suite bathroom is available for larger parties for an additional charge of $75.
