A wonderful balcony overlooks the sparkling pool and beach for enjoying magnificent ocean sunrises, watching dolphins play in the water, or sharing a glass of wine in the evening while listening to the sound of the waves. The beach is just footsteps away from the condo, which is located directly on the NO DRIVE portion of the beach.
There are absolutely no surprises with this rental. This property is a luxurious 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo that was decorated for relaxation and comfort while enjoying the pleasures of beach life. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed with walk-in closet and private bath with beautiful tiled shower and jetted tub. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed. There is private access to the fully-upgraded second bathroom from the bedroom, and it also opens out to the hallway. There is a fold-away cot bed to sleep a fifth person. The unit has 3 flat-screen TVs, and is fully furnished with bedding, linens, bath and beach towels, beach umbrella and chairs for your comfort and enjoyment. There is wifi and a full washer & dryer in the unit.
The kitchen has upgraded cabinets and granite counters, and all utensils you could need. There are multiple dining options – a separate dining area, counter with bar stools and outdoor snack tables and chairs on the condo's oceanfront balcony. A Publix grocery store is directly across the street and restaurants and shopping are nearby.
Seawinds is a private building, with code entry only. Each guest is assigned a reserved parking spot in the gated, remote-access underground garage. There is additional parking in street level lot. The building is wheelchair accessible.

Why Karen chose Ormond-by-the-Sea
We vacationed in this area of Ormond prior to buying. We love it because it is very quiet, yet allows us easy access to Daytona. Very importantly, we are on the NO DRIVE part of the beach, so no car fumes or traffic.
What makes this Condo unique
Our breath was taken away when we saw this condo for the first time, after viewing MANY. The decor is so beautiful, not like a rental unit. The view is phenomenal, the balcony is completely private since it is an end unit. The approach to the front door is completely private - your own porch to leave chairs, coolers, etc. since no one else passes our unit. Property references are available upon request. We rented the property through another site, so there are not many reviews.

Beautiful Condo in a great location!
This condo is very nicely decorated and updated. The furniture and bedding was very comfortable. I visited with my grandmother who is 95 and the condo was close enough to the elevator for her to walk without difficulty yet far enough that we never heard or even saw anyone else.
The view from the balcony is beautiful, not completely private as it is a corner unit with the balcony completely open to the building next door. However, that didn't really bother us at all and we spent many hours on the balcony just soaking up the view.
The location is very convenient to shopping with Publix right across the street and a drug store a couple miles away. We made all of our meals at the condo and had everything we needed for cooking.
The underground parking space is close to the elevator and the shopping carts provided were a godsend!
I would definitely vacation at this condo again!
