Spend the summer in one of New England's most desirable beach towns when you escape to this Oak Bluffs townhouse. You'll enjoy a private deck, shared resort amenities that include an outdoor pool and Har-Tru clay tennis courts, and walking access to beautiful ocean beaches.

This two-level deluxe townhouse is located at The Island Inn on Martha's Vineyard, a five-acre resort with a lovely outdoor pool terrace, three tennis courts, and a picnic area. Take morning strolls to Joseph Sylvia State Beach (half a mile south) and Inkwell Beach (one mile north), tee off at the Farm Neck Golf Club right next door, and wander into downtown Oak Bluffs each evening to ride the Flying Horses carousel one mile north.

Kick off your flip-flops by the door, bask in the comfort of the partial air conditioning, and take a seat on the sofa to unwind from a day at the beach. Log onto the WiFi to post photos of your sandcastle-building contest, find something fun to watch on the cable TV, and open the sliding glass doors to let in the ocean breezes from the deck. The kitchenette includes silverware, plates, cups, cooking pans, and utensils.

Head down to the sparkling outdoor pool each afternoon, where you can take a refreshing dip, read magazines in the sunshine, or play cards with your children around one of the terrace tables. Book a tennis lesson with the on-site pro, head back home to prepare dinner in your full kitchen, and spend the evening hours sipping cocktails on the deck or curled up inside by the inviting fireplace.

Other amenities include shared washers/dryers, a picnic and barbecue area, as well as a firepit area. Tennis courts, plus racquets, and ball rentals are available at the Pro Shop. Tennis is available from May 15th through October. The seasonal pool is guaranteed to be open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. There is also a lovely on-site restaurant that is unaffiliated with the Island Inn.

One of the sleeping spaces is a semi-enclosed sleeping space; the second-floor bedroom being a lofted space, semi-open to the floor below.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
