Why Vickie Melseth, next door neighbor and crabber extraordinaire chose Tulalip

Expansive no bank waterfront with huge lawn for games. Raised our family a few houses away from here. Use to sail, windsurf, crab, clam, and fish off of these beaches. Built many forts and rafts and campfires here. Still crabbing and raising oysters nearby. Love the blue herons, eagles, grey whales.

What makes this cabin unique

Incredible views/sunsets. Proximity to fishing/crabbing/golfing/Hibulb Cultural Center, native american traditions (check out the canoe journey each summer!), no train tracks along water, no ferry needed to get here. Reasonable drive to all that nearby urban areas offer. 4 nearby golf courses.

Wonderful place to stay on the water

  • 5 of 5

This was a wonderful place to stay and relax. It had everything I needed to vacation and a great beach area to walk. The patio was nice and plenty of room for myself and my dog to play in the yard. It was really neat to watch the tide come in and out from the patio. The location is excellent because it is kind of tucked away from street noise. I would recommend this place to anyone. The hosts were wonderful as well. Very accommodating and easy to communicate with. I appreciate them sharing their home with me.

Truly a hidden gem!!!

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay in this Tulalip cabin. There are gorgeous views from every window! We had an awesome view of the bay which was very enjoyable from the large enclosed deck where we ate, watched seabirds and eagles, and simply enjoyed being outside. I have a small Pomeranian and was concerned about the eagle nest nearby, but Vickie said my Pom would be safe on the deck and could be on leash on the grounds. Ultimately, we became comfortable to let the Pom run off leash on the beautiful grounds as well. Our two dogs had a most wonderful time, seeking out rabbit scents, but of course, no catch! The cabin was very cozy and comfortable, with full kitchen facilities. It was very helpful there was another refrigerator on the deck to use as well. Vickie was a great host, and even provided us a taste of fresh crab from bay she caught. We had a wonderful time, great memories of our cabin stay on beautiful Tulalip Bay. The best view of the bay and ability to walk the sand spit right off the property every morning made this the best location.

Beautiful spot, little old cabin. We were between houses, so it was great they allowed pets. Vickie was the best part. Very accommodating and great to talk to. Hope to go back soon!

What a gem!

  • 5 of 5

This place was so cute! It had everything I needed for a relaxing vacation, and it's location on Tulalip Bay was picture perfect. You simply can't beat the view from that deck. I would definitely stay here again.

Bonus points for all the bird activity in the bay. I've never seen so many cranes in one place and really enjoyed watching the bald eagles and seagulls hunt for fish.
