Why Vickie Melseth, next door neighbor and crabber extraordinaire chose Tulalip Bay
Expansive no bank waterfront with huge lawn for games. Raised our family a few houses away from here. Use to sail, windsurf, crab, clam, and fish off of these beaches. Built many forts and rafts and campfires here. Still crabbing and raising oysters nearby. Love the blue herons, eagles, grey whales.
What makes this Cabin unique
Incredible views/sunsets. Proximity to fishing/crabbing/golfing/Hibulb Cultural Center, native american traditions (check out the canoe journey each summer!), no train tracks along water, no ferry needed to get here. Reasonable drive to all that nearby urban areas offer. 4 nearby golf courses.

The Northwest at its Best.
We used to live nearby and chose Vickie's cabin because we wanted that northwest camping feeling that we have always loved, and we were not disappointed. While having that first cup of coffee in the morning on the deck my husband and I and 4 huge bald eagles watched a local tribal member setting his nets on the bay. Vickie's husband smoked some salmon and they dropped us off some that was still warm from the smoker...delicious. The cabin is rustic and lovely and convenient to shopping, casinos, and a taste of all the beauty the northwest has to offer. We came to visit friends and family and the cabin added an extra layer of wonderful our visit.
Absolutely perfect get away!
Felt like going to my own cabin. Everything you needed was there. Vickie does a great job of making sure that every detail is taken care of. The view is spectacular and the beach is like a private beach, no one else really has easy access. Would recommend this to any one who wants a beach get away without going all the way to the ocean.
Very nice excellent location and house was excellent with lots of extra welcoming touches 😎
wonderful place to vacation
We loved our stay here and plan to return! The views are priceless and the cabin was stocked with everything we needed. It was very quiet and the sunsets and sunrises were gorgeous. Our host was very kind! We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Thank you!
Awesome-everything we hoped for and then some.
The cabin is quaint and welcoming with spectacular views of the water out most windows. The kitchen is well stocked as is the bathroom with lots of linens. The beautiful outside deck is perfect for relaxing or dining. It’s a peaceful and private retreat where one can watch the cottontail bunnies frolic on the large lawn or the seal trying to steal fish from local fishermen.
Wonderful place to stay on the water
This was a wonderful place to stay and relax. It had everything I needed to vacation and a great beach area to walk. The patio was nice and plenty of room for myself and my dog to play in the yard. It was really neat to watch the tide come in and out from the patio. The location is excellent because it is kind of tucked away from street noise. I would recommend this place to anyone. The hosts were wonderful as well. Very accommodating and easy to communicate with. I appreciate them sharing their home with me.
