Great place to relax!
We really enjoyed our stay, this is a great place to come and relax. The place was just as described and they knew it was our anniversary so they even had flowers waiting for us. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice quiet place to unwind for a few days. The only negative thing about the place is the sheer curtains in the bedrooms but that was very minor in our opinion. We would love to stay here again in the future.
Great place on island for wilderness viewing
We greatly enjoyed our stay at Paul's place. It overlooks the salt marsh and feels tucked away from neighbors and the busy areas of the island. Yet, it has easy and fast access to restaurants, shops, and other areas nearby to explore. Paul was very helpful and quick to respond to a couple of questions. He gets a 5 star! I highly recommend staying here especially if you are looking for natural surroundings on the island.
A great location, a great place to stay
In 1968, 2001, A Space Odyssey was released. The architect involved with the SeaLofts on Deer Island was clearly a fan. If you are a fan of adventurous architecture, you need to stay here.
If you enjoy feeding deer carrots and apples (they love apple slices), this is your place. Bring binoculars and a good bird book - you won't get bored. The TVs are superfluous.
It's an easy walk to Harbour Town, and an easy bike ride - bikes supplied - to everywhere else. Your car can stay parked and enjoy a vacation as well.
That marshy area is full of nature, Harbour Town is full of people, you get to choose, they are both close by.
We liked it so much, we are returning, reservations already made.
Do be aware the bedroom curtains are sheer - great for waking up with the sun, not so great at night when getting undressed. Not that the deer care.
Lovely place in incredible location
Nice, cozy and host is very accommodating
Loved every minute of stay
Will definitely consider for my next trip to the island
We enjoyed our stay. The treehouse was clean, and cozy. This is in a wildlife preserve , we did see deer. This was a two bedroom/two bath house with full kitchen and would stay again if in area.
Wonderful location but air condition did not work well. Left a day early.
The place was clean. The kitchen was nice. Also, The patio furniture was nice and we enjoyed the location but with air conditioning not working well, we left a day early. Also, there was no privacy in bedrooms from the outside .because there was no mini blinds or curtains that were not see through. We text the manager the first day that we were there to ask him about the ac and we got no response.
You are steps away from famous Harbour Town - home of the RBC Heritige Classic golf tournament
