Over 3000 square feet of space (including garage) on three levels allows for more room than a 2 bedroom house suggests. Fabulous views of Ten Mile Range/ski area from the front deck where you can view the 4th July and New Year's Eve fireworks!
The main area is open plan living/dining/kitchen. There are two bedrooms, the master upstairs with king bed, and one on the main level with two queen beds. In addition the open loft area has a queen size bed with privacy screen, and the recreation room on the lower level has a large sectional sofa that can be pulled together to sleep two adults. An inflatable queen sized mattress is also available, and a crib/playpen for infants/toddlers.
There are 3 TVs; 2 of these are HD TVs on the middle and lower level with basic cable and Showtime; the other TV is in the master bedroom.
Three bathrooms are on each of 3 levels of the house.
A large laundry room with washer & dryer leads out to the back patio where the hot tub is located. One half of the two car garage is available for guest use.
A log fireplace is situated in the main living area with plenty of logs available next to garage and also outside on the front deck.
A gas BBQ is on the front deck.
The property has a fully equipped kitchen, has wireless internet, and is family/kid friendly.
One well behaved dog is allowed. Must be crated if left at the house alone.
The entire house will be accessible to the guests with the exception of a few locked closets and half the garage space. There is room for more cars in the driveway, but please do not park on the access road or County road below.
This property has a fairly steep driveway and during the winter I recommend all wheel or 4 wheel drive vehicle to access the house. The driveway and access road are plowed when the snow gets deep. If parked in driveway, please park under deck to allow the snowplow access.
Since this house is on 3 levels and has a number of steps, it is probably not appropriate for old knees!
To note: As I will rent the entire house, I will not be staying there with guests. However, I can be contacted via email or phone/text and I am happy to meet guests at the start of their stay when possible.
Well located close to town with outstanding views of the ski slopes! Very clean and well appointed with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. We will definitely be coming back!
We had a great time in this beautiful home. The owner was very accomodating and available. We had seven people with plenty of room to spare. The hot tub is amazing and the views are breathtaking. The property is high up and feels far away from everything but in reality you are just five minutes to Breckenridge ski area, grocery store and shops! We can't wait to come back. Thank you!
The perfect cabin for skiing, with an amazing view of the slopes and mountains. Melanie was an excellent host and had everything that we needed for our stay.
