Beautiful, airy immaculate retreat in the Castle Road area of Truro. Just under a mile up the road from Corn Hill Beach. Three floors of living space, w/ 4 bedrooms, a quiet cool study, and 3 full baths with marble shower and Italian tile. Light-filled rooms with French doors, many windows, gleaming wood floors and skylights. Yard-level family room opens onto yard with outdoor shower. Well-equipped kitchen, dining area and living room connect through French doors to large deck, with gas grill, overlooking the Pines. A balcony off lovely master bedroom has distant views of Corn Hill. Wireless internet access. Very close to both ocean and choice bay beaches — walk or ride a bike to Corn Hill Beach. This house is convenient to everything, but has privacy and quiet.
Here’s one renter’s perfect day: breakfast on the deck. Down the road to Corn Hill Beach. Swim, sun, read and relax, and then grab your kayak to go past the Pamet Harbor up the beautiful Pamet River at mid to high tide. Then over to one of the many ocean-side beaches for some boogie boarding, at lower tide. Back to the house - an outdoor shower and a cup of ice tea or wine and relaxing. Grill dinner, or go out to local Truro restaurant Blackfish Grill (great food and if they're booked they do take-out - have a cocktail at the bar while you wait for the food!). Watch the sunset at Corn Hill Beach, or from the deck at the house or out on the Parabolic Dunes with Art's Dune Tours out of P-town. Or attend a play at W.H.A.T. (Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater), or stay home and relax.
Or . . . .
Wake up and have breakfast on the deck. Take the nature walk at Pilgrim Springs or The Pamet Trails. Go body-surfing and sunbathing at Head of the Meadow Beach. Back at home, take an outdoor shower, and have a nap! Then off to Provincetown for a gallery night at Provincetown's dozens of art galleries, or the PAAM (Provincetown Art Association Museum), looking at art, enjoying a glass of wine and seeing an incredible sunset over Provincetown Harbor! Eat dinner at Cafe Edwige, The Mews, Russo's, Napi's, Joon, Mojo's (great clam stand at the harbor) or the small food court on Commercial St. with picnic tables overlooking the harbor. Then people-watching and browsing in the shops on Commercial Street. See a film at one of P-town's 2 movie theaters or catch a Live Revue! Leave the 'Carnivale' of Provincetown and head back to quiet, starry-skied Truro (>10 minute drive) and relax on the deck star-gazing. Then head up to bed as the night stars and breezes come through the skylights!

I visited Truro, and Corn Hill Beach, with my family when I was just 5 years old, in the early 1960's, from our home in New Jersey. We were the only 2 families on the beach! Little did I know that someday many decades later I would own a home in beautiful Truro!
Why Judy chose Truro
I think our house feels a bit like a tree house! We are nestled in the Pines, right up the road from Corn Hill Beach, but also close to the many other beaches, stores and restaurants in Truro and Provincetown. We love Truro's rural character and the ability to "get lost" on your own stretch of National Seashore as well as the energy and fun of nearby Provincetown. We love the historical nature of this area - the Pilgrims landing here first - the Native American presence, the artists and the fishing industry! Very rich history here as well as the wild nature of the sea!

Perfect for our girls getaway weekend
The house was very comfortable and enough space for the 7 of us. Kitchen is well stocked. Beds were comfortable. Corn Hill Beach is beautiful. Great location.
Beautiful, cape cod chic with plenty of room
Lovely location - easy access to RT 6 and all of the amazing things to do in Provincetown, Truro and Wellfleet. House is decorated beautifully and has bedrooms and bathrooms on all 3 levels, so plenty of room to spread out. House is well equipped, has lots of of natural light and is in a nice quiet neighborhood. We had a great girls weekend!!
We enjoyed our stay, the house was perfect for my family. There was plenty of room and very family friendly. I loved the decor. It was a rainy weekend but still found plenty to do.
Charming Cape Home in Excellent Location
This was our first experience with VRBO and we are very pleased. Judy was very professional and always responsive with any questions. The home was very clean & spacious with a great deal of natural sunlight. The bedrooms are spread out and very comfortable with a bonus basement "suite" if needed. Overall, our stay was very enjoyable and we would definitely return in the future.
A Perfect Fit
We have stayed in many accommodations in the Wellfleet/Truro over many years but
Judy's place by far met the needs of our whole family.
Thoroughly enjoyed the layout of the home, the sizable yard for a heated dodge ball game,
great decks for sunsets and hanging out after a day at lovely Corn Hill beach and the location a stones throw from the fish market.
As my wife said, "we should definitely come back."
Such a comfortable home
We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is perfect: close to Corn Hill Beach, Provincetown and the ponds of Wellfleet. The house is 3 stories and gives large families their own space. We spent a lot of time out on the deck grilling and relaxing. The kitchen is large enough to accommodate a large breakfast or dinner and well equipped. The outdoor shower and multiple parking spaces are a plus. Nice kids room and master is beautiful with its own deck. The owner, Judy, is very personable and made sure everything was just right. Thank you so much. We've already talked about coming back next year.
