Our beautiful 2,200 square foot home looks out at the 13th green on the Coronado Golf Course. It sleeps 6 comfortably in 3 bedrooms with 2 1/2 baths. The large master bedroom has a king-size bed and 40 inch flat screen TV. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed and direct access to the second bathroom. The third bedroom has a queen-size bed and a 32 inch flat screen TV. The comfortable living room offers a beautiful view of the woods and golf course along with a 38 inch flat screen TV. All televisions have Dish service and free Wi-Fi is offered. The dining area seats 6. The kitchen breakfast area seats 4 and has direct access to the back deck with a patio table that seats 8. Three can sit at the penisula while watching you cook in the large fully stocked gourmet kitchen. The large two-level deck has a gas grill. The washer and dryer in the laundry room are yours to use. We want you to make yourself at home while you're here. Our home is a single level with a 2-car garage and a level driveway, so steep slopes and stairs are not an issue. There are woods on each side of our home and the front of the house faces the woods, so we have the peace, quiet and wildlife of the forest.
The Ouachita ) Mountains and National Forest provide a majestic background for this gated community. There are activities for everyone in the family. Hot Springs Village offers seven private, 18-hole championship golf courses that all guests can access with POA-member Guest Cards. Their beautifully-manicured, rolling fairways and greens have earned many of the courses top-ten state and national rankings from Golf Digest. If you prefer tennis instead of golf, the 16 tennis courts in Hot Springs Village should get your attention. The Coronado Tennis Center is a premier facility with 10 clay courts and three hard-surface courts, and the clubhouse features a lounge, kitchen and pro shop. In addition, there is a 400-square-foot pavilion with an ice machine room, picnic tables and restrooms with showers. A ball machine and practice hoppers are also available. Guests should try to call the tennis center a week in advance to set up play.
The Coronado Fitness Center is a full-workout facility. The facility includes a large exercise area with weight and cardio equipment, a three-lane walking track, exercise classroom, a 25-meter-heated indoor swimming pool, a whirlpool, steam room, sauna, and massage therapy. In addition to the men’s and women’s locker rooms, two family-handicap dressing/shower rooms are available.
The water-sports enthusiast or Lake Fisherman has seven recreational lakes totaling 1,900 acres of aquatic space to enjoy. You can bring your own boat OR boat, paddle board and kayak rentals are available at the Balboa Marina on Lake Balboa and WayPoint Marina on LakeDesoto. In addition, Lake Ouachita, one of the nation’s clearest lakes, is only 12 miles away.
When you’re ready to venture away from Hot Springs Village, Hot Springs needs to be your destination. The thermal baths on Bathhouse Row and downtown shopping are not to be missed. Kids can earn their Junior Ranger Badge at Hot Springs National Park. And The MidAmerica Science Museum is a hands-on experience for everyone. The whole family will enjoy the Duck Tours, while adults will enjoy the history and entertainment at the Ohio Club. The Oaklawn Casino and Race Park are home to gambling and world class thoroughbred racing. Garvan Botanical Gardens are beautiful year round.
Magic Springs Water and Theme Park has been named one of the three most family-friendly parks in the nation by Better Homes and Gardens, offering two parks for the price of one. It is the largest water park in Arkansas and the only theme park located in a national park, offering more than 80 attractions which include the Arkansas Twister roller coaster. Thrill rides include the X-Coaster, Plummet Summit and The Gauntlet. Other attractions at the park include Crystal Lagoon, seven brightly-colored slides, a play pool, High Sierra Slide Tower, Crystal Falls Wave Pool, Kodiak Canyon Lazy River and Bear Cub Bend for smaller children.
