About the property

Our home is walking distance to RTD - Colorado Station, entertainment, USPS, grocery, a dispensary, restaurants and shopping. We are minutes from the Theater District, Pepsi Center, Mile High Stadium, Elitch Gardens and downtown via RTD (E, F & H). You can travel door to door from DIA to us via the RTD for $9, or Uber for $20-$35. You’ll love our place because the location ( 1/2-mile off of I-25), this house is great for friends traveling together. LGBTQ friendly & free nearby street parking.

If you're looking for a large space to use when coming into town for game day, this is a great way for two couples to have a large common shared space. Light rail makes downtown & arena access easy, but you're not stuck in the hustle and bustle of the crowds.

We're here if you need us, but otherwise we will set up the front door with a 4-digit access code of your choosing. Since the outdoor space is shared, you may run into us there.

The light rail greatly expands what would be considered "our neighborhood," but it's easy walking distance to quite a few different restaurants, the movie theater, a dispensary and grocery shopping.

Many guests who stay with us don't use or need a car. Public transit gets them where they need to go. Uber & Car-to-go are also options... as is a Enterprise Rental Car which is just a 10-min walk away from our home.

Why Duane Makowiak chose Virginia Village

We love the location - very close to the interstate and the light rail station. It's easy to get downtown for a Broncos or Rockies game using the light rail, but we're not stuck in the middle of the city. There are a lot of surprisingly good restaurants and venues within walking distance to us - so it's like living in the city without living in the city.

What makes this house unique

Two bedrooms and two bathrooms with off-street parking! We also keep our fridge and pantry stocked for you, as a convenience so you can grab any snacks you might need, pretty much at cost.

Fantastic house, stocked with essentials

Stayed here for a work trip, definitely recommend. House was super clean, well decorated, and comfortable. Stocked with everything you need, way beyond what most hosts provide. Felt more like a BnB than just a house. Location is tucked away but next to the Light Rail and two blocks from the highway. Host is incredibly responsive and accommodating.
