The house is located in the historic Rosebank neighborhood. It borders many of East Nashville's hippest hot spots. Check out all of these cool nearby neighborhoods: East View, Eastwood Neighbors, Fortland Park, Historic Edgefield, Inglewood, Historic Lockeland Springs, and Shelby Village.
There is an MTA bus stop just up the road, but the best way to get around Nashville is by car. Ride sharing with Lyft and Uber is popular. East Nashville also has several roads with bike lanes. The Greenway at Shelby Bottoms connects to other beltways around the city.
There is a commercial train track that runs on top of the hill behind the house. The train runs regularly day and night; however, it rarely blows a horn. The beautiful antique trestle stretches across the park and the Cumberland River. The train is certainly audible from the house, but we find it to be melodic and charming.
