Neat and clean.
House was clean and neat. There were sufficient supplies - towels, extra blankets, etc. Dishes, plates, silverware in good supply. Some of us don't drink coffee, so a tea pot would have been nice.
Clean and lots of rooms for guests!
Great time was had for a quick weekend in Portland. Beaverton was super close to where we needed to be. Margaret and Gino's house is very well maintained and spacious. They are wonderful hosts and their house was very warm and welcoming. Will definitely book again here next time we come for a visit! Thank you!!
Quaint home in a quiet neighborhood
This home was perfect for our needs. The living areas are well appointed and the kitchen is well-stocked. One thing to note, and it wasn’t an issue for us, is that the home is split level & only the living room & kitchen are on the entry level. One bedroom downstairs, the other 3 upstairs.
The owners left a bottle of wine, which was much-appreciated after a long day of travel, as well as several recommendations for things to do in the area. We would stay here again if we are in the area.
Quiet and peaceful
We enjoyed our stay in Beaverton and the travel we did in the Portland area. The house was clean and the area was serene. We felt that this trip was a great success. My only drawback was, I went salmon fishing but did not catch a fish.
Very nice space with plenty of room and a great outdoor area.
This was perfect for 6 of us to stay for a friend's wedding. Margaret was very accommodating and let us check in a little early - there was even a bottle of wine waiting for us! The upstairs bathroom door does have to be held closed with a bag or something, but don't let that deter you!
Thank you for letting me know about the bathroom door, Bethany! It was a quick fix and works just fine now:)
All good, with some notes
The interior of the property is great, updated, clean. Good neighborhood. Not a major deal but the exterior is overgrown and looks like a scene from Jumanji, nothing like the pictures on here. The three stars instead of 5 is more regarding the fact that I had to message the property to get my damage deposit back. If it weren't for that I would have done four or five stars. In the landlord's defense, she can claim it was set to happen or there was an error or whatever. Regardless, outside of the curb appeal mislead and the damage deposit all good.
The house is in a quiet, well kept, neighborhood. There is a beautiful park within walking distance. Downtown Portland and the Pearl District are within easy access. The Nike campus is a five minute drive. Intel is roughly 15 minutes, depending on traffic.
