Our Modern annex is a loft style guest house above our garage with Aspen tongue and groove thru out gives a cabin feel.
All you need in the kitchen with gas 4 burner stove and large fridge. 3/4 bath (shower) with a vessel sink, 1 pillow top Queen, 1 double and 1 single bed, central air, with a couch, end table and coffee table in living area, small high top dining set for 2, Wifi, cable TV, stereo and games. Views of the lake, woods and gardens, windows facing south and north. Note this is a 2nd floor loft (above garage) separated from the owners home by a large breezeway. Here you will find brochures about the area and what to see and do and souvenirs, groceries upon request.
Just outside the semi-private breezeway entrance is a beautiful dining courtyard with plush seating for 5 and is surrounded by flower gardens with lake views. A path leads 100 feet to the sand shore line of Dixon lake with comfy lounge chairs. A log swing sits under the pines as well as a relaxing hammock. There is a lakeside grilling and fire pit terrace with plenty of seating.250 feet of plush lawns and lake shore. Kayaks, bikes, paddle boat, Gas grill and fire wood is provided complimentary.
Dixon Lake is North of Walker MN and close to Big Winnie and revered for the great Walleye and Crappie bite. Fishermen also catch bluegill, perch, pike and bass. In the Chippewa National Forest for great riding, hiking, biking and hunting.
Guests have options for massage services. We try to keep a quiet spa atmosphere for adults, so get a babysitter for the kids and come on up. We have a tree house rental here also Look for our add for the tree house in Squaw Lake, MN. We are licensed and insured lodging business.
Dixon lake is mostly undeveloped and very peaceful, the setting is majestic pines on 8 acres on a peninsula with many AMENITIES. Our bay of the lake is considered the quiet part of the lake but most guests think the whole lake is super quiet.
We have boat, pontoon snowshoe and X.C. ski rentals.
