A beautiful home in a great setting
I enjoyed the house with my two brothers. We found it very clean and comfortable . There is a outdoor seating area and a large Smart TV for evening movies.
It is in a lovely quiet neighborhood with a short drive to beaches and downtown restaurants .
We loved the location! House was as described. I would recommend mentioning you have a Kuerig instead of traditional coffee pot since we went straight to the grocery store before going to the house. Had to make another trip to the store 😃.
Claudia who manages the house was very helpful and extremely prompt to answer any and all my questions.
Lovely home in the Lake Ida area.
This is a lovely, spacious home with three bedrooms that appears to have been recently renovated. There is a sofa bed in the open den area. The dining room and kitchen seating areas provide plenty of space for family meals. Appliances are new, and there are ample pots, pans, and utensils for a vacation stay. The house is clean and in a great area (Lake Ida). The furniture and beds are comfortable. The owner has provided two beach chairs for guest use and there are board games for kids. I recommend renting bikes to explore the area. One issue is the television service--for the digital immigrants out there, be sure to brush up on Netflix, Hulu, etc., prior to your stay as the tv works off of Internet service. One bedroom has a tv and there is also a tv in the den. TIP: There is no pool at this house; however, on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings (5:00-9:00), you can go to "Happy Hour" at Crane's Beach House where you can get drinks and dip in their waterfall pool. Download the Downtowner, Uber, and Lyft apps to make your "Happy Hours" safe and carefree. MORE TIPS: 1. Go for a late lunch at Latitudes at the Delray Sands Resort. It is worth the very short drive and the lunch prices are better than dinner. The view is spectacular and the food incredible; 2. Take an Uber or Downtowner to the beach unless it is an uncrowded time of year as parking is a bit tough at times; 3. Go to brunch at Park Tavern, Luna Rosa, or Max's Harvest; 4. Go to Buddha or Opa for the "Happy Hour" dinner menu. Thanks for a nice stay.
Lovely home and close to restaurants and the beach. Also close to I-95.
I would definitely recommend this home to anyone. Fully equipped but no tv just Netflix. But we aren’t big tv watchers so it suited us fine.
Thanks Susan! You were a great guest and if you ever visit the area, we hope you will return to the home.
