Sealodge G9 is a top floor condo with incredible views of both sunrise and sunset. Enjoy views of Anini Beach, Kilauea Lighthouse and great whale watching. This newly remodeled condo with coastal chic décor, designer furniture and a 55 inch flat screen TV, sits right on the edge of the bluff giving it one of the most amazing views in Hawaii. G9 Shares no common walls for maximum privacy and relaxation. This is the memory you are hoping for. Well-equipped kitchen features European glassware and dishware, with premier bakeware and pans, along with upgraded small appliances and accessories. Everything you need for a day on the beach (cooler, boogie board, snorkel gear, beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels and beach bag) is available for your use. Sleep well on a top- of- the- line queen bed. Conveniently, G9 includes a washer/dryer. Queen bed, maximum occupancy 2 persons.
Sealodge is located at the end of a small quiet side road, with no through traffic, that ends at a dramatic ocean bluff. The Sealodge condos front the ocean bluff on their lanai side and across the small road is jungle. A short hike from the condos brings you to the secluded Sealodge Beach. The jungle trail crosses a small stream then descends to a sandy beach. The ocean at Sealodge Beach is shallow and protected by a reef, making it ideal for snorkeling and swimming.
The Sealodge condos were built so you can see the rolling white water waves from the living room windows, the bedroom windows, and the lanai. From all three of these locations you can hear the surf, watch for whales, spinner dolphins, and exotic birds.
Relax and breath in the fragrant ocean breezes, enjoy the sunrise, moon rise, and frequent rainbows. There is a pool and BBQ area.
Sealodge is comfortable, quiet, and island casual. Whether your day beckons your adventurous spirit or a time of quiet relaxation, Sealodge offers it all at affordable rates.

This is a four star review. We loved G9 at Sealodge. We have stayed at Sealodge before in a different unit so we have something to compare it to. We also gave that other unit four stars though the owner was taken aback that I mentioned how hot it gets if the trade winds are not blowing. Sorry, but this is an honest review and not every single thing is perfect, but it is worth the four stars. I have listed some pro/con type things below for you to consider, but I can’t imagine anyone staying here and not truly enjoying the place.
The view is incredible. It’s the whole reason why we chose G9, and the privacy provided by not being on the bottom floor is a huge plus. Just know that there are a lot of stairs to climb.
I called on arrival day to say the floor fan wasn’t functioning and one was brought within two days. We really appreciated having the standing fan because it was raining its butt off and we couldn’t open the windows to get any air flow.
The bed was comfy and slept like a dream.
It’s a tastefully decorated unit, with wonderful use of colors and decorative elements.
There is plenty of extra bedding supplied, and extra pillows too.
We made fajitas one night and had all of the cookware and utensils needed. Stove, oven, and microwave worked fine. We used all three during our stay.
We never had any problems finding a parking space.
This is a very quiet property. Very peaceful. I loved hearing the birds chirping.
We were able to access our Netflix and Amazon accounts via the TV so that was very cool while we were hunkering down during the 100 year storm.
No light by front door. This has previously been reported by other renters so they are aware of it yet still have not fixed it.
Knives and scissors could use some sharpening.
The bathtub does need some no-slip surfacing of some sort.
Maybe add some binoculars and/or telescope for star and ocean gazing. We saw whales on our last day there and thankfully, I brought my own binoculars with me. :)
Nobody called or emailed to check on the property after the devastating storm that hit on April 14th. I attribute this to the fact that they know G9 is up on a cliff and the third story and not subject to flooding. But wow, was that a crazy storm to experience.
