Summer or winter, you'll want to be an easy stroll from the center of Ketchum, Sun Valley's actual community, where you'll find renowned restaurants, galleries, theaters and shops for which rustic-sophisticated Ketchum/Sun Valley is so well known. In winter, the River Run Shuttle stops nearby on its way to the lifts, arriving at the River Run base in minutes. Or you can drive the half-mile to the lifts and park.
The split-level architecture offers the very latest in design excellence, maximizing views, privacy and exposure to the delightful creek. The great room looks over Trail Creek canopied with cottonwood foliage in the summer and offering bold views of Baldy in the winter. The bedrooms--each with its own bath and its own flat-screen TV and DVD player--are all on separate levels; two face the creek and the mountain and have access to the decks flanking the stream. The other bedroom makes claim to the kitchen, great room and uppermost treetop and Baldy-view deck. All of the furnishings finishes and equipment are state-of-the-art, reflecting the owners' good taste and genuine sense of hospitality.
There's a large heated double garage right in the unit--no twisty, tight underground parking and elevators to deal with. The stairs are tiled in slate leading to living areas with smooth hardwood floors coordinated with the alder kitchen accents, big solid-wood doors and window casings. Accent area rugs add color and style to the living areas. Bedrooms feature wall-to-wall carpeting.
The kitchen is a joy with granite, stainless steel, alder, pendant lighting over the casual-dining bar, and everything you need, from blender to teapot to wall-mounted bottle opener. And, with the open floor plan, the cooks are part of the great room, arranged around the gas-igniting, wood-burning fireplace and wall-mounted 42-inch TV/DVD etc. The solid-oak dining ensemble is set up for six.
The spacious master bedroom suite with king bed has a large adjacent sitting room with ultra-suede sofa sleeper which can be partitioned for privacy by closing double pocket doors. An antiqued armoire closets a flat panel TV and DVD player. Access to the lower deck offers an easy evening hot tub. The bathroom suite features granite counter tops accented with travertine, shoulder depth tub, glass encased shower and walk-in closet/dressing room.
The second bedroom offers a queen bed, TV and DVD and its own bath with a roomy glass-enclosed shower lined with slate.
Bedroom Number Three, on top, has twin beds that can be converted to king; its adjacent full bath with roomy glass-enclosed shower also tiled in slate, functions as the powder room.

Sun Valley/Ketchum is a unique, unspoiled place that will probably always be protected from over-development and hyper-commercialism. The population is limited by the size of the valley and the surrounding public lands, while the recreational infrastructure is absolutely second to none. Many attributes of the resort, such as the cross-country skiing, are ranked among the best in the world.
What makes this Townhome unique
Waterfront serenity and seclusion so close to the center of Ketchum, coupled with the quality and design, made this our first choice. And, we've added air conditioning for the top floor with the cool air "cascading" to the lower levels of the townhome! The double-car garage in the unit was another plus.

Beautiful townhouse located within walking distance to town. We shared with another family, it was perfect.

This is a beautiful townhouse. It was in perfect condition. And Convenient to everything!
This townhouse was perfect for us. Each bedroom was on its own floor giving everyone lots of privacy. The MB had a beautiful sitting room and a luxurious bathroom. The house was in perfect condition. The Kitchen had everything you would need to cook and the living room was just below so others could relax. It is walking distance to town and a short hop to the mountain. This allowed some of the guest to shop and some to ski. We absolutely loved it.
Needs some attention and more accuracy in description
Overall it was a well constructed condo. But, it had some issues during our stay. Lots of snow made it impossible to find the condominium sign and walk into town. There were multiple light bulbs out, extra towels were not in the unit, only 4 coffee mugs available (we were a family of 6) and no cutting boards to prepare our meals. Garage door was unhinged at one point as we tried to leave and almost injured someone. Dishwasher needs to be replaced immediately. It was inconvenient to be hand washing the dishes before placing them in the dishwasher, so we could use them for the next meal. Hot tub is meant only for 2 -3 people. Would have given it 1 star, but the management staff was accessible by phone and did reconcile issues. You need to drive to the ski resort because the green bus line does not exist. Management company printed information seems outdated and inaccurate. Overall there was some misrepresentation, but we had an enjoyable family ski vacation. The snow and Sun Valley restaurants were great!
The condo was very well managed, good location. Parking was a challenge, but was workable. We loved the town, shops, restaurants. Sun Valley was a perfect place for the wedding.
Wonderful Spring Break Location
The lodging could not have been better suited for our family of five. Three well equipped bedrooms, bathrooms and a kitchen that was fit for a true chef. The unit is very close proximity to River Run and the hot tub, on the bottom deck, was the perfect place to close out the day. Our boys loved throwing their fly rods in the creek behind the property too. Mountain Lifestyles does an excellent job of managing the property. This unit has a decorators touch and was the perfect place to call home for our break. We look forward to visiting again in the summer!
