This is a lovely place attended to in great detail by its owner. The porch and beautiful garden welcome you. If you are heading downtown, the bus is close and the streetcar is a short mile's walk.

Absolutely Fantastic!!

  • 5 of 5

Kathleen was a gem of a hostess! The location was so great, beautiful area, that makes you get a feel for local living. There were some really awesome restaurants and local bars with live music right near us. We did both uber and drove ourselves to the French Quarter. The bed is super comfy, our stay was fabulous! We did an airboat swamp tour and it was worth every penny!! We can't wait to come back to see, and experience more, and will stay here again for sure! Thank you, Kathleen!!!

Nice area and friendly host

Stayed 4 days and it was great. Very comfortable bed and a nice big shower. Grocery store close by as well as some good restaurants. It's a nice walk over to ST Charles rail line. It's not a super short walk but the neighborhood is lush and historic. I did it several times. The room has a mini fridge, a microwave, and a coffee maker. I would definitely stay again, There is a big nature park in waling distance

A fantastic stay!

  • 5 of 5

Charming and convenient, this property had everything we could ask for and more. The spacious bedroom is well-appointed, and the bed is the comfiest I’ve slept in in quite a while. The bath is equally roomy with a wonderful shower and good lighting. The large walk-in closet has a small kitchenette on one end, and the fridge was stocked with cold water, coffee and tea. There is a Winn-Dixie a block away, and Magazine Street was just a short stroll. We walked around the corner and had a fabulous breakfast at Toast. Enjoyed a glass of wine on the porch swing at sunset before heading off for the evening. Couldn’t have had a better weekend, and we’ll definitely be back!
