So you want to get away?
If you want activity or just a weekend getaway to forget the everyday hassles, the Dream Catcher has much to offer people of all ages and interests.
The Dream Catcher #16 is located in the Black Hills of South Dakota. It sits 6,500 feet above sea level on beautiful Terry Peak. The forest green- and khaki-colored cabin is camouflaged amongst the trees to ensure the utmost privacy. Inside, you will be welcomed by a completely furnished kitchen, bathroom, and three bedrooms. The cabin is very roomy and can comfortably sleep a total of twelve people.
The only items you need to furnish are bath and dish towels and your own personal toiletries. The cabin’s highlight is the “great room,” the large room with a stone fireplace, two couches that also double as beds, dining table, and enormous bay windows that capture the warm sun. Dream Catcher 16 is maintained all four seasons to allow for year-round fun.
A good time is guaranteed!!
The property was extremely clean and appointed nicely! It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We loved the location in the ski area both for the scenery and for its relation to many of the popular motorcycle ride routes. The sunsets were gorgeous and traveling the mountain on our motorcycles was more than refreshing. We recommend Lewies (at the bottom of the mountain) for some of the best burgers ever!
Had a good time, hopefully it snows alot this winter cause this place will be on the top of my list.
We spent a wonderful 4 days in this beautiful home. The interior of the house was great with everything you need to cook meals and sleep comfortably (except towels). The only issue we had was not able to get the fireplace to work properly, but that was no biggee as the weather was incredible. The area was amazing with close encounters with wildlife everywhere. We were disappointed in Spearfish as it advertises a street dance on Fridays nights, but I guess only in the heart of summer. Many good hiking trails in Spearfish Canyon and the Badlands and Custer Sate Park are a lengthy drive away but definitely worth the trip.We saw Bison, birds, a bull snake eating a horned lark, mountain goats, pronghorn everywhere... Overall a very exhilarating stay that we will likely do again.
The Dream Catcher is a beautiful, well maintained property. It is located in a quiet area and has all the amenities of home. The inside is decorated very nice and the furnishings were great. It was nice to come back in the evening and relax in the big chairs. Great view out of the windows. We walked around a little down the roads each day and this area is so nice. This place is definitely the place to stay when you are in the area. It is close to the surrounding cities. We were here on July 21-23 and the weather was great. I highly recommend this place to everyone. It was only the two of us. There are two bedrooms decorated nicely plus the basement has the "bunk beds" for additional people.
We(all 4of us) enjoyed our stay at the Dream Catcher cabin. It was a very relaxing quiet 4 days . We would certainly recommend this cozy place on Terry Peak . We fixed our breakfast each morning before we ventured out for the day, then came back in the late afternoon and fixed our own suppers . Everything was handy in the house and easy to feel at home.
We will certainly consider coming back for another stay
We had a great time staying in Dream Catcher cabin in July. Short drive to many attractions though peaceful and quiet. Has all you need. You won't be disappointed with the place.
