This 1930s "landmark" located in the historic district of Algiers Point is within easy reach of the best New Orleans has to offer. This exotic home with privacy hedged garden provides a perfect location for all its guests to relax and enjoy the ambiance of New Orleans. House provides enough room to sleep from 8 to 12 people! (extra fee per person per night above 8!)

Private courtyard is great for a family get together or barbecue right in the court yard with plenty of room inside in the great room or large covered patio outside or the roof top terrace with its fabulous views!

Great location from which to take the 7 minute ferry ride from this quiet historic residential neighborhood and be dropped off on Canal Street within walking distance to all the New Orleans favorites, festivals, parades, and entertainment! There is no need to have to get in your vehicle and pay for expensive parking! Harrahs Casino, Riverwalk Mall, the French Quarter, the Marigny, are all right there!!!

Free parking is available on both sides of the home on the street!

About Pamela and David Powell

David and Pam are experienced VRBO Hosts with homes in New Orleans and also in the Pacific Northwest. Their lovely home in New Orleans comes with quite a story. Pam and David arrived in New Orleans a month before Hurricane Katrina. After the storm, the two of them remodeled this unique home to restore it to its original beauty. It was custom designed and built in the 20's, inspired by Gaudi design and architecture from Barcelona, Spain. We hope you enjoy our home and treasure it as we do.

Very nice place, would stay again!

Our experience at this property was fantastic. My friends and I rented for spring break, and there was plenty of room. Hosts were very communicative and friendly. Would definitely suggest staying here, its a beautiful home that would fit a large group comfortably.
