By getting the transcanada highway to the west you'll get to Banff, Kananaskis, Canmore, and to the lakes. If you choose to go East, you can get as far as Drumheller which hosts one of most amazing dinosaur's showroom in Canada. If you stay in town, you can also visit the COP (Calgary Olympic Park- for winter activities such as skiing, snowboarding, tubes, bobsleigh, skating and luge. When summer arrives, COP offers mountain bikes, summer bobsleigh, mini golf, skyline luge, and a terrific zipline! Are you a music lover? even if you aren't, you have to visit the National Music Centre which is home to an impressive collection of musical instruments and artist memorabilia. Haven't you ever attended a horse race? then visit Spruce Meadows facilities and its international tournaments.
