Sand Point Joint has two gourmet kitchens plus a jacuzzi tub in the master suite.

The top two levels are a 3 bedroom 2 bath beach home (1700 square feet - sleeps 8 on one king, one queen and four twin bunks) with two huge balconies that have the BEST views. The ground floor is a 1 bedroom 1 bath apartment (700 square feet - sleeps 4) with its own stainless and granite kitchen, queen size bed, queen futon and flat screen t.v.'s. In the off-season or winter, the home and the apartment can be rented separately or together, but rented together as a single 4 bedroom 3 bath unit during peak-season dates and events.

I was looking for a Port Aransas house to buy as an investment since Port A is absolutely the best beach town in Texas. Also it's a great excuse to get to the beach more often. After looking at several houses I was shown this house and I made an immediate decision to buy when it was presented to me. It was and is kept in immaculate condition.

What makes this house unique

It has everything you will ever need except your bathing suit. Pool, hot tub, beach, outdoor shower, three baths, four bedrooms, seven new flat screen tvs, two kitchens, two huge decks, and lets not forget the view.

The main level of our home is a 3/2 with two balconies.. there is also a totally self sufficient 1 bedroom 1 bath apartment with granite and stainless steel kitchen (sleeps 4). Several board games and DVD movies to watch.

Very nice. Everything worked. Checking was easy and the home was well cleaned

Check air conditioner. Not sure it turns off when it gets to the desired temperature. Winds were high during our stay and lots of sand dust in the air. I would also check seal on front door seemed to get some seepage of this dust

A perfect joint for a ladies retreat!

Our contact, Matt, was super easy to work with and communicated well with us prior to our trip. He gave us airport, ground transportation, restaurant and activity information prior to our arrival so we could plan our trip. The house was lovely - we rented both the top and the bottom portions of the house. We had 8 ladies on a girls trip, and there were more than enough beds - too many, in fact. There is a king on the third floor with a huge bathroom, a queen room and 4 twins (bunk style) on the second floor that shared a bathroom. The LR could seat all of us when we pulled in the dining chairs. We used the kitchen quite a bit for cooking, and it had all of the items we needed. Remember to ask what day is trash day and plan to do your seafood the night before! At all times of the day, we sat out on the porch and visited. The beach boardwalk was right across the street - very convenient. We had a very pleasant trip and will definitely use Matt with 1ofakindbeachhouses again.

We've stayed at Sand Point Joint for several years & we always have a great time. The accommodations are perfect for our family of 5 adults & 4 children. We're close to the beach, across from the only restaurant on the beach, the pool is 1/2 block down the street & we're close to everything in Port A that we want to enjoy. I would give this property & it's management a superior rating!

When you have a group of people that include executive chefs, meeting planners and creative business owners , you have a group that can be hard to please ( not to mention four teenagers who barely turned on their computers) There was not one thing I would recommend to change about our experience at Samdpount Joint- from the booking process with the management co to every amenity inside the house to the perfect location and layout of space- not a single complaint. We had a great time and look forward to coming back in the future

This absolutely beautiful home was EVERYTHING our family was looking for to thoroughly enjoy Port Aransas! This spacious and luxury home was steps away from the ocean but it was so great inside, it was hard to leave it! The property manager went above and beyond to accommodate us and give us 110% satisfaction! If your family is staying in Port Aransas, you REALLY have to book this home. You will have a perfect Port Aransas stay with a home you wish you never had to leave! Next time we're in Port A, we WILL book this home again!

Location, location, location!

This is a great rental, with good access to both the beach and downtown Port A. We stayed 5 days for a family vacation including 6 adults, 4 kids, and 1 teenager and everyone enjoyed the accommodations. We spread out without feeling like we were on top of each other. Being directly across from the walkway to the beach was very nice, and it was easy to go into town for dinner or deserts when we didn't feel like cooking at "home". We also used the pool several times and it was close as well. The manager was prompt with information and easy to work with. If I HAD to come up with a complaint, the only thing I can think of is that the wifi was a little weak on the 3rd floor. We'd definitely consider staying here again.
