This rustic but modern cabin has all the amenities you will need to enjoy your time at the World Equestrian Games! The cabin is located on the "good" side of Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC) only 7 miles away! You will be able to access the Games conveniently and easily without getting into the traffic snarls - in fact you can walk or hike to TIEC if desired.
The home offers a "country" experience with all amenities including a gas/charcol grill, lots of outdoor furnishings, flowers and vegetable garden and more.
The master bedroom has a queen bed, private bath, delightful views, storage, ceiling fans and more. Upscale linens and furnishings make your experience even better.
The second bedroom has a Latin America vibe with one of a kind wall hangings, a sitting nook, ceiling fan and a double bed with high end linens. The second bathroom is only one step away from the bedroom.
A comfortable fold out Queen sized sofa provides room for two more sleepers.
Relax in the living room with expansive windows and watch the birds, deer, squirrels and fish. Or sip a drink on the small balcony off the living room. The balcony has two cushioned lounge chairs and a table.
The kitchen and dining room are compact but fully outfitted. If you are a coffee drinker you will love the Swiss expresso/coffee maker that produces delicious European style coffee at the press of a button. Gourmet coffee is included! There is a dishwasher, gas stove and all kitchen supplies to make a sandwich or a gourmet meal. Enjoy the view over the private pond into the horse pastures beyond while you clean up.
The best part of this lovely property is the view of Litle Mountain and the relaxing and lovely ambience of the pond and pastures. What you don's see is other homes or any roads. There are several covered porches with a dining table, chairs to watch the wildlife, ceiling fan and more. There is covered parking for several vehicles as well. A unique pyramid structure on the property is a great place to watch the sun set or do yoga or meditation.
Of course the close proximity to TIEC is of top importance, but you will also be able to enjoy the following activities while at home. Hiking right out the gate (trail maps provided), fishing, bicycling, bird watching, possible horseback riding (by prior appointment) and more.
You will be only 10 minutes from grocery stores, restaurants, drug stores, antique and clothes shopping, tack shops, massage, acupuncture and other alternative therapies, doctors/hospitals, and most anything you might need during your stay. You can also experience boating, zip lining, the Blue Ridge Parkway, brewery tours and much more in the surrounding area.
