A piece of paradise! One block to the beach, 5 minute walk to St. Armand's!
About Lori G
Lori has been a long-time visitor to Florida for getaways from the Washington DC cold. She’s spent most of her time in the Sarasota area and just fell in love with Lido Beach and it’s very eclectic shopping and fantastic restaurants in St. Armand’s Circle. Enjoying the type of vacation where you don’t need to always find parking, Lori found this home nestled amongst rich, private vegetation, with the ability to walk to both the beach and St. Armand’s Circle. I also love traveling and getting to know the people from all over the world. Vicki who is your Chief Hospitality Manager, has lived in both Lido Beach and Longboat Key. She is an incredible property manager and a powerhouse of information for local cuisine and things to do in the area. Her number one priority is YOU! You will be pleased with her care and concern for your comfort. Clearly we both love this part of Florida! We especially love hosting families and friends who enjoy such a hip, urban neighborhood like Lido. We enjoy the local restaurants and we love that we can walk just about anywhere we need to go. We absolutely love the house and the guesthouse. It's often referred to as a "private little Garden of Eden" by our guests and we agree. We love hosting people in our guesthouse, and look forward to meeting travelers and helping them feel as comfortable and at home as possible while in Florida.

Why Lori G chose Lido Key
Because driving once you're on vacation is such a waste of our most important commodity !!! Quality Time! Why this property? Because it's a quiet and private tropical paradise! Why this property? Because your comfort and pleasure are our #1 concern! Beautiful St. Armands Circle, with its collection of restaurants & pubs, daiquiri decks, ice cream parlors, boutiques and specialty shops is a short 5 minute walk from the home. The Lido Pavilion, located on the beach is 50 yards from the front door. Grant Drive is one of the quietest streets on Lido Key allowing you to bask in the simple pleasures of island life. At both ends of Lido Key there are Parks that you can bike or walk through, enjoying special 'look-outs' to the beautiful Mangroves surrounding that portion of Lido Key. Kayak rentals are available to get up close and personal with the natural shore lines surrounding Sarasota bay. Mote Marine, a beautiful Aquarium where you can explore the many beautiful sea animals that live in the Gulf of Mexico is located just off the north end of the key. Over the Ringling Bridge to mainland Sarasota you can take advantage of many wonderful experiences and a rich cultural community. From the Ringling Museum, to the ballet, opera or concerts at the Van Wezel, to gorgeous downtown Sarasota with its picturesque bay-front. With street names like Lemon, Orange, Pineapple, and Coconut it is a very tropical setting. Downtown Sarasota also boasts a beautiful movie theater, library, plenty of shopping, and wonderful restaurants.
What makes this House unique
The POOL! Private and relaxing! Pool heater will be installed in November 2018 ! This home is wonderfully private, lots of lush surroundings provide privacy and a fantastic tropical paradise. There is an extra indoor bathroom sink with mirror for the ease of two people getting ready at the same time which always seems to be a problem when you're on vacation. Why waste time waiting for a sink when you can be on the beach or relaxing by the pool! There is also an extra outdoor shower!!
100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
Quiet, private, quaint, peaceful property. We will book again in the future.

A Private Oasis
We really enjoyed our stay! The home was clean and well cared for and had everything we needed. A short walk to the beach, shopping and restaurants at St. Armand’s Circle and an easy drive over to downtown Sarasota. The pool with its waterfall and lush, artistically lit landscaping made us feel like we were at a five star resort! Vicki was very responsive and helpful when we had questions. We will definitely come back!
We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect property to stay in while in Florida. It was beautifully maintained, private, but within walking distance to both the beach and the downtown area. We will definitely be staying here again.
Emily, Thank you so much for taking time to give us feedback. Your satisfaction is very important to us. We thank you for giving us the opportunity to host your valuable time away!
Just what we needed...
The house was immaculate and had everything you could possible need. The pool was heaven and we really enjoyed the privacy provided by the landscaping. The beach was so close and so relaxing. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway!
Perfect location for beach holiday, walking distance to beach, shops, restaurants. House is very comfortable and well equipped . We really enjoyed our stay.
A short one-block walk to one of the best beaches in the country! The pool is very private and the fountain provides a sense of peace both in and out of the pool! Relax in the sun on a very unique part of paradise.
Wander on a short five minute walk to St. Armands Circle to find delicious restaurants, stylish apparel and unique shops. St Armand’s Circle has fabulous restaurants yet several ice cream and fudge shops if you only want a treat. The shops have a good selection in every price range and you should never miss visiting the novelty and shell stores. Much fun is to be had there. There are plaques reminding everyone of the local circus culture as The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art is a state art museum of Florida, located in Sarasota, Florida. It was established in 1927 as the legacy of Mable and John Ringling for the people of Florida. In St. Armand's Circle, the Renaissance owed its inspiration to classical Greek & Roman art – art that had beauty as a defining characteristic. Classical sculpture combined the realistic portrayal of individual beauty & the humanistic aspects of idealized beauty. In 1927 John Ringling recreated this beauty on St. Armands.
Enjoy a beautiful drive over the bridge to get to our special part of Lido Beach from the city of Sarasota. Great unique shops and fabulous restaurants dot this circle. There are many shops to choose from for shopping as well as restaurants to dine in . The merchants are all friendly and the vibe is upbeat happy and a great place to spend some time. Clean as a whistle, great for families and singles. This upbeat town will leave you wishing you lived here full time!
