Overview

About the property

Best place to stay in Bywater - close to French Quarter

3 room suite consists of (living room, bedroom and bathroom - totaling 500 sq. ft.).

This suite is sleek, modern, beautifully renovated with 14 feet ceilings. Bedroom sleeps 2 in queen size bed, and sitting room has a singe bed fold out. Enter into a private living room from the street. Then, walk seven steps to bedroom and bathroom down the hall. The whole 3 room suite is yours to enjoy. Close to tons of Bywater restaurants and bars. Across the street from Crescent Park arch bridge. Uber ride is about $8 ( little under a mile to French Quarter). The blue bike renter is around the corner - download app, enter code and ride.

This house is separated in two parts: Front (off the street) is the guest suite, and we (me and my partner) live on the back portion of the house. The guest quarters ends at the end of the hallway with a locked door with open section at top (to allow air flow to central cooling unit), at the end of the hallway separates the house. The guest suite is all yours to enjoy.

Perfect for our needs

Angela was very helpful, gave us a quick tour of the suite when we arrived and was helpful and easy to reach by text if needed. The suite felt private even though it is attached to the owners home. Comfy bed, great bathroom and a nice living space with TV , fridge and coffee/tea maker. The fridge was stocked with water and there was a list of nearby places to eat. There is no kitchen here but why cook in New Orleans? There was a microwave to heat our leftovers.

Loved the area, close to some nice local restaurants and bars and just a short Blue Bike ride to the French Quarter.

A walk to Polly’s for breakfast and a visit to the New Orleans art Gallary across the street from Polly’s is well worth the trip. Would love to go back.
