About Madison Bumgardner
We are long time residents of Wilmington. We grew up about an hour north in a little beach town. We are high school sweethearts, together nearly 9 years. I (jared) am a wealth manager here in town and my wife (maddi) is a property manager/business owner. We love to travel! We are passionate about the service industry and want to make sure that everyone has a wonderful time when they visit our place.
Madison Bumgardner purchased this Condo in 2017
Why Madison Bumgardner chose Historic District
We bought the condo originally to be our primary residence. We absolutely loved it from the first time we walked in. We tried some short term rentals in it while we were waiting to get married and we loved the whole process. The extra income is nice but more importantly is seeing the impact we can have on people from all over the world. We have gotten postcards from our travelers and even made some lifelong friends.
What makes this Condo unique
The 4 big windows that open up onto Front St are the best thing about our place. Pop open one of those, sit on the windowsill with a coffee and enjoy the hustle and bustle of our beautiful little city.

Great downtown location
We enjoyed our weekend! We parked in the public parking garage nearby for just $8 a day and walked all over the historic district. There are lots of good restaurants and interesting shops along the River Walk and on the nearby streets. The only reason I am giving it four stars instead of five is that we were there on a Friday and Saturday night and even with ear plugs, it was noisy late at night. Well-equipped apartment but especially in the hot summer would have been nice to have more towels.. This was our first trip to Wilmington but will not be our last. It is a friendly, fun place.
Great place for people watching and close to everything!
Beautiful! Could have a couple more glasses/dishes, but other than that, great! It is in the noisy night life area, so does get a little noisy at night. Ear plugs were provided by the owners. Loved the location and had everything we needed!
