Why Peter Andrew Sacco chose Niagara-on-the-Lake
Peter is opening his house up to visitors, as several guests he has had over the last few months have enjoyed their stays so much and encouraged him to share his gorgeous house which is 10 minutes from the Old Towne of Niagara on the Lake, 10 minutes from Niagara Falls, and 5 minutes to the USA in Lewiston, NY. The house was built in 1972 by a local artist. Eventually the house was sold to another artist/professional interior designer who had the house for the next 22 years. Recently, she sold it, with the goal to keep the house in the ‘lineage’ of artists, and Peter is the new torch bearer!
What makes this Bungalow unique
The house is on over one acre off a main road, and very quiet. The house has 2 large decks and 1/3 of the house is glass! The house has a wall of bamboo trees on the left side, home to many Blue Jays and Cardinals. The back of the property is deep with forested trees, serving residence to Hawks, Falcons and Woodpeckers. It is not uncommon to see American Eagles soaring over, as well as deer and wild turkeys scampering across the backyard. Across the streets is the foot of the Escarpment, all forest. Behind is the lower part of the Escarpment with a unique drop off. Do you like starry nights? The nights are breathtaking! Do you like peace and quiet? Do you love nature? Do you want to escape from the city but yet feel so close? Do you want to feel like you are in the tropics? You have come to the right place! Welcome to paradise!

The space had everything and more that I needed. Fabulous large deck overlooking the lush gardens, comfy sitting area available to use, very comfortable bed for sleeping with view of trees and gardens and spacious washroom. Host was gracious and provided everything that I needed and provided information of the area. And of course it was close to Niagara on the Lake, wineries, parks and the falls. Very enjoyable stay.
