Our stay at Kulalani #1004 could not have been better! The place is located in a serene setting with a view of the golf course where you can watch the wild goats grazing on the greens and watch and listen to the tropical birds sing. We enjoyed access to the Beach Club, and the relative proximity to Hapuna Beach and Waikoloa Village. The townhouse is just as the pictures depict, except it feels even bigger because of the high ceilings. We can't wait to return!
We stayed in Kulalani 1004 for 3 weeks and found the home very quiet and well-appointed. The lanais are extremely hot until late afternoon, so an umbrella or preferably some type of bamboo shade/awning would be a huge help. The main pool area was extremely noisy and didn't have enough chaises, plus the pool was dirty most of the time. The adult pool area was better, but as we had family with children in another unit we had to use the family pool most of the time.
Perfect location and Home is amazing!
This home has everything you can possible need with a 1 car attached garage and additional parking right outside the door. W/D, beach equipment, kitchen well stocked. Tastefully decorated and the back lanai has an amazing golf view with deer every day!
We loved it here. Oh, it offers Mauna Lani Beach Club Access!
9 Day Stay at Townhouse
This was our 6th time to the islands and first time to the big island. This townhouse was by far the best place we've stayed in because it felt so much like home. This gem of a place has modern amenities and features, well kept, clean and tidy. We loved the private neighborhood which has walking distance access to a kid and adult pool and gym. We also loved the private beach which was a short 5 minute drive. Other local amenities included restaurants and a grocery store. Property managers were really helpful to resolve any issues that came up. The only issue we had was the place did not have an ironing board. The managers dropped on off the next day. I would suggest adding a few more kitchen utensils like a pizza cutter or measuring cups. I would love to stay here again during my next visit.
We liked the property
Initially we were impressed. However the problem with the televisions soured our overall impression of the property management. We felt really "dissed" regarding the serviceman who was supposed to have come to fix it. I sent a video showing the problem. I will not stay there again when I return to Kona in September
Very quiet and private with excellent management care
The unit backs up to the golf course, where you can see goats. It's very private. The two porch/balcony areas are great. The unit is fully stocked and very comfortable. The management team was SUPER! I recommend it to others and will return myself.
