Conveniently located in downtown Amherstburg. You're just a short walk to many of the local attractions in and a 20 min. drive to Windsor or Detroit! A spacious 2 BR apartment overlooking the river and the Navy Yard Park across the street. There's lots of light and a beautiful view in any season.
First time visitors to Amherstburg and regulars will enjoy using our flat as your home away from home.
Our place can be your home base as you tour the shores of Lake Erie. Take a scenic ride down County Road 50 and visit many of the local wineries, beaches, conservation areas and historic attractions.
You are walking distance to Fort Malden National Historic Site and the Toddy Jones Park where you can take the kids to enjoy a day at the splashpad. Relax, have dinner and enjoy an ice cream at the famous Waterfront Ice Cream Parlour, just next door.
In the winter, come and enjoy the River Lights Festival which celebrates the holiday season. In November and December you'll be surrounded by the beautiful Christmas lights. In the summer, you're in the heart of the action in downtown Amherstburg.
The Historic Downtown Amherstburg neighbourhood is rich in War of 1812 history, 1920’s Rum Running culture, and Underground Railroad stories. Many sites in this Amherstburg educate visitors of its historic significance, such as Fort Malden National Historic Site of Canada, the Park House Museum and Pensioners Cottage, the Commissariat and Provincial Marine Re-enactment Unit, the Gordon House, and much more. You will often seen re-enactments of famous battles, cannons are a common sound to be heard, and activities for children to experience hands-on history are abundant.
