Why Laura Bowers chose Smoky Mountains

Attending College at WCU and always having a love for the mountains and the great trout fishing on the Tuck we decided to purchase a vacation rental home and are glad that we are able to share it with those who have the same love for the Western North Caroline region as we do.

Great Time and Great Fishing!

'Best Catch' is truly a catch in itself. Beautiful cabin with amazing scenery, nice decor and awesome fishing just outside the door. We had a wonderful time and hope to be back soon.

Good place to stsy.

This is a very nice place. My only recommdation is blackout shades in the second floor bedroom. Small criticism for an overall great place to stay.

Excellent Cabin!

  • 5 of 5

This is an outstanding cabin in a perfect location. The cabin is directly off of the river for great trout fishing. The cabin has the luxury of a separate upstairs bedroom for the kids or other guests. It is within close proximity to everything you need. You are very close to Sylva and Dillsboro where you can enjoy some great shopping and restaurants. You are also close enough to visit Harrah's Casino in Cherokee, which is only about 30 minutes away. You can even spend the day by driving to Asheville, which is close as well. For those skiers, you can drive to Cataloochee for the day as well. Overall, the cabin is perfect for anyone who wants to just relax by a fire by the river or for those who are looking for every adventure imaginable within a short driving distance. This is a must stay cabin.

Great Cabin on the River!

  • 5 of 5

We took the family up for a long weekend vacation. The fishing was awesome and my two boys caught plenty of trout. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Great location if you want to go to Cashiers or Asheville. Silva has a lot to offer too. What a great value for the price you pay. We have started a new family vacation up on the river.

Relaxing Weekend

  • 5 of 5

We had no idea what a great place this would turn out to be. Great location for fishing (of course), close by to Dillsboro and Sylva for meals and shopping, and just relaxing. The kids had a great time fishing or just playing in the water. The house itself has comforts of any home with the separate bedroom upstairs for the kids. Overall, we enjoy our stay and would go back anytime.

Great fishing, great location, great accommodations

  • 5 of 5

We have had the pleasure of 3 visits to this beautiful cabin. The location on the river gave us the option to fish right in front of the house, or take a small walk to some other great fishing spots. All along the way, beautiful scenery. Some days, we just kicked back in the cabin and enjoyed the river sounds and the great wrap around porch.

Our last visit, we drove to the Biltmore in Asheville and had a blast. It was only about an hour drive. We also stopped at the Cherokee Casino, again 45 minutes to an hour away. That casino was BEAUTIFUL.

Every visit has been better than the last, and the owners really took care of us. Highly recommended for a weekend getaway, a trout fishing extravaganza, and an all around good time!!! Thanks Todd for this Sylva gem!!!
