Awesome location, the property was just as advertised. Plenty of amenities as well. We walked to the downtown mall and area restaurants, as well as the neighborhood park with our dog. We definitely recommend this little house.
Great Little Getaway Spot!
We loved staying here! It was the perfect distance...less than a mile walk to the mall area, it out of the hustle and bustle. We had had a busy week, so walking in to find cold water in the refrigerator and snacks on the counter was so amazing. They really focus on the special added touches!
We had our two dogs and there was plenty of room for them to have space in the house and the back yard was convenient for letting them out.
I would recommend!
Hits the spot
This is an outstanding piece of property in a busy city. It provides off street parking, outdoor seating, and a good location to reach local businesses. The home also comes with a big back yard if you have kids and they need to stretch their legs.
The interior of the house is extremely nice with comfortable furniture. bright living room lights for reading, and a spacious room. The dining room is very spacious with a nice dining table and chairs. The big surprise is how well stocked the clean and tidy kitchen is for it's guests. The owner stocks plentiful snacks for the guests and complementary items are also included. All of the kitchen appliances work great.
The home comes with two bedrooms and they are really comfortable and well decorated.
We highly recommend this property.
We enjoyed our stay very much. The cottage was a perfect size for the 2 of us and our dog. The bed was comfortable, and the living area couch was quite nice to relax on as well.
There is a dog park nearby, and the neighborhood is close to the mall. We will stay here again, the next time we visit Charlottesville.
We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone
We enjoyed our stay at this property and would definitely recommend to family and friends if ever in Charlottesville area. Great location, clean, easy time communicating with the owner and pet-friendly, which is always a plus when we travel.
A 15 minute walk to the downtown mall pavilion and the Fridays after Five Concert Series. Easy access to many independently owned restaurants and bars, several in walking distance, like Beer Run, The Red Lantern, Belmont Pizza & Pub, Firefly and Guadalajara. A ten minute drive to John Paul Jones Arena. An easy 12 minute walk to the bus stop for the free downtown trolley which travels to the UVa hospital and campus. Easy access to US Route 250 and many local attractions like Monticello and Carter Mountain Apple Orchard. This cozy cottage is less than three miles to interstate 64.
