Enig minpunt waren vliegen.
Zeer mooi compleet ingericht huis in landelijke omgeving.
On reviendra !

Vinaros, also written as Vinaroz, is a cozy typical Spanish port located on the sea, surrounded by orange groves. In the background you can see the mountains, whose slopes are covered with lush vegetation. Vinaros is located on the Costa del Azahar in Castellon province and was originally a fishing village. It is still the center of the Langostinevangst and has everything one needs for a successful holiday. It has a beautiful harbor which is close to the arena was built in Roman style. The more authentic heart of the town dates from the 13th century, and the nice plazas, shops and terraces make the picture complete.
Every day there is a fish market on the harbor, which is definitely worth a visit.
Vinaros has an open and a covered market, shops, boutiques and a Mercat where fresh vegetables, meat and, last fresh- fish can buy. The splendid promenade in the evenings is the meeting point for the Spaniards and the present tourists. Vinaros has a character of its own where you can still enjoy the Spanish atmosphere without falling into mass tourism.
In addition to several good restaurants, bars, night clubs and terraces there are nightclubs that offer entertainment until the small hours. The coast with its beautiful bays with pebble beaches is suitable for all types of water sports. Because of the many bays you can choose for a busy or quiet beach.
Should you prefer a sandy beach above a pebble beach, you will find it right on the promenade of Vinaros. For small children, this child-friendly sandy beach is a paradise where you can have fun by the beach is very gently into the sea. The beaches of Vinaros are even crowded in high season.
Vinaros is centrally located between, for Spanish, cold north and the (very) warm south and is therefore the area with the most ideal climate. Always you will find in this region a wonderful equable climate with mild winters and hot summers.
The lush vegetation and the many citrus fruits that are found (oranges, lemons and tangerines), many olive and almond groves and banana, peanuts and large rice fields all flourish fully in this wonderful climate.
Particularly the town of Peniscola, situated on a peninsula 14 miles south of Vinaros, which is entirely built on a rock in the sea. Around this tourist town, where you really can enjoy activities are fantastic beaches that also for the smallest are completely safe. The mountain town of Morella (60 km inland) is also recommended. Morella is a high altitude old fortress, where you - if you look in the distance from the city walls - can hear the silence! Morella addition to many attractions including a beautiful cathedral and an old castle, some beautiful remnants of ancient aqueducts. Just outside the city in Morella la Vella, you can see ancient prehistoric petroglyphs.
Is worth a visit to Tortosa (45 km). This city on the Ebro is the center of a very fertile area. Everything is also noticeable that the population here has always been rich. A visit to the Ebro Delta with its fish farms, marshes, rice fields and miles of completely empty, pristine beaches, is highly recommended.
A completely different nature you see when you drive through La Cenia to the deep green lakes of the Rio Cenia. Here, where the Sierra de Montenigredo starts, you can (protected by the state) in various directions drive into the nature reserves. Also here are ancient petroglyphs that can be viewed.
Once at the reservoirs, it is definitely worth it to drive direction Fredes. This is a mountain village with only 14 inhabitants, a church and cafe. Here you eat the real 'Ternasco' or lamb shoulder.
If you head south and visit the various small villages along the coast road, finish your trip or not in Castellon with its typical Spanish architecture, but keep enough time to drive for a bit! After about 30 miles you come namely the famous caves of San José.
The main parties in Vinaros take place throughout the summer. Among others, the feast in honor of San Pedro, the patron saint of the city. The whole week there was a big party, which takes place in June / July, with fair, procession, fireworks and various zeefestiviteiten.
In August there is a week long celebration of the Langostinos with competitions in preparing this lobster species, the flowers game, fairs, sporting events, concerts, and so on.
