We are making Paris feel like home, one guest at a time...
Why stay in a cramped hotel room when you can have all the comforts of home for less?
Charming, historic one bedroom apartment that has recently been completely renovated with love and care. Traditional Parisian stone-faced building dating from the 1920's with fireplaces in both the living room and bedroom. The apartment is located on the 1st floor (European), one short flight up. There is no elevator, but the one flight of stairs is generally manageable for those with slightly restricted mobility.
We are minutes away from the famous rue Daguerre, a typical market street packed with fresh fruit and vegetable stands, butchers, chocolate shops, restaurants, flower shops and bakeries. The local market takes place on Tuesday and Friday mornings. Lots of guidebooks and local information are at your disposal during your stay.
Some ideas for your stay: Our ideal day starts with a stop at our favorite local bakery for some warm pains au chocolat. We then head over to one the local markets to check out the fresh offers for the day. The afternoon is spent exploring one of the numerous close by attractions, Jardin du Luxembourg, Notre Dame, Opera, or the Catacombs or a visit to one of Paris' wonderful museums: Musee D'Orsay, the Pompidou Centre, or the Musee Carnavalet. In the evening enjoy some of the best and most affordable French restaurants the city has to offer or pop out to see an opera or a concert in one of Paris' many exceptional venues.
Truly your home away from home in Paris with all amenities included: Fully equipped kitchen, Internet access with WiFi, Cable TV, Electric kettle, hairdryer, telephone, stereo with CD player, etc. The apartment even offers a full library of both French and English books, including numerous guidebooks to the city and novels to unwind with at the end of the day.
Just steps to the Metro (Lines four and six) and the RER-B. Excellent direct access for Charles de Gaulle (Roissy) and Orly airports.

We are a French-American couple that moved to the US in 2007. We wanted to be able to raise our 2 children in a bi-cultural family so we've held onto our wonderful apartment to allow us to 'go back home' once a year. This is a photo of us on a week-end in Rome.

Why Owner chose Petit-Montrouge
The apartment has an interesting history. For years it served as an archive room for the bank below. In 2000, the apartment was gutted and renovated. The location is fabulous for transport links (both within Paris and also to both CDG and Orly airports). This is a truly French neighborhood. The apartment is comfortable, quiet and has plenty of light.
What makes this Apartment unique
We love the authentic feel of the neighborhood. While we invite guests to come and stay in our home when we are not there, this apartment truly is our home in Paris. We love to hear about guests finding a resource on our bookshelves or the fabulous meals they have created in our kitchen. It makes us feel as though we are not so far away. The apartment is wonderful too in that is is peaceful, a respite from a busy visitor's day and yet everything one could need is within a few minutes walk.

Charming, cozy Paris apartment
Tara's apartment is absolutely lovely! We stayed comfortably with four adults and found there to be ample space. It is close to everything you would want to see in Paris- 15-20 mins from the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe and about 15 mins from the Louvre Museum. We found it quite easy to get to where we needed to go during our trip. The area it is in is also wonderful; plenty of friendly restaurants with delicious food. There was also great shopping just walkable, down the block.
Tara made her directions very clear to get into the apartment, what her expectations were when we left, and all of the resources that were provided for us as guests. This made it quite stress-free for us. We loved this apartment and had an amazing time in Paris!
Thank you Tara!
Comfortable Parisian Living
Traditional apartment in lovely 19th centery building, but with modern kitchen and bath. Everything included to make you feel right at home. Double-glazed windows kept out all the city noise. Perfect location, near supermarket, neighborhood outdoor market, and twice-a-week farmer's market. Metro and several bus routes close by. We discovered local restaurants nearby and enjoyed feeling part of the neighborhood as we sipped our aperitifs at the local cafe. Tara was helpful and responsive.
Charming, convenient apartment
Chez Pierre is a lovely apartment in a terrific location. We had a wonderful stay in Paris due in part to how comfortable we felt with our accommodations. The host was always quick to respond, was very organized and answered all of our questions easily and clearly. We felt very much at home. The apartment is close to the Metro, and with a pass the entire city was at our disposal. The neighborhood had lots of good restaurants, convenient pharmacy, etc. it’s so nice to have the comforts of home while traveling, such as a kitchen, washer, dining table, Wi-Fi, and a bookshelf full of great books related to Paris. If we have the chance to stay in Paris again, we will definitely contact Tara! Thank you for a lovely few days.
It was a pleasure to host you, Eileen! We hope you can come back soon. Kindest regards, Tara & Pierre-Olivier
Quaint, cute and clean
The apartment was clean and cozy, and full of Parisian flavor. It was easy to assimilate the life style of the neighborhood. The location made getting out and about easy. Highly recommend.....
Well-located and incredibly comfortable home base!
This lovely apartment was a great place for my mom and me as we explored Paris for five days. It is conveniently located in a quiet, residential neighborhood close to the metro and lots of great restaurants. There's a grocery store across the street and a great bakery just down the street. The location allowed us to experience the city as a local. We appreciated that the apartment was on the first floor, had comfortable beds, a dining table where we ate a number of meals, a computer with reliable internet access, and everything else we could have needed (fully equipped kitchen, hair dryer, etc). Tara was incredibly helpful, and very responsive. We appreciated being able to share their home, and would happily return!
Just right for 2 people and in a great location.
This nice apartment is located near bus and metro and has an abundance of restaurants within walking distance. I would recommend it for anyone looking in this area!
Bed is comfortable. Kitchen well equipped and bath had everything we needed. Adequate storage space too in this nicely decorated apartment.
