World class views of the Volcano, the Lake & the Jungle. $95/night

We stayed in the top part and it was amazing! Beautiful view and Allan was very accommodating. We had breakfast every morning personally made to what we were wanting. This is a nice place if you are wanting a peaceful area.

The view from the home is spectacular, the home itself was beyond my expectations. It was clean, and was a great place to come home to after a long day.

The thing I loved most about the home besides the view is the location of the home, it is situated in El Castillo, and is very close to Arenal national park, and La Fontana. Some recommendations for things to do in the area are the La Fontana Waterfall, and Cerro Chato. And for food I would recommend the phoenix restaurante and la ventanita, both serve excellent food for a reasonable price.

Allan was a good host, checking in each day to see how he could help. A full and delicious breakfast was also served each morning by a cook.

This is not a 2 bedroom and would not comfortably sleep 4. There was 1 bed and an air mattress, that was in the kitchen The road to this location is a steep dirt road. Breakfast was not provided or discussed. I would recommend staying in La Fortuna which may be a bit further from the volcano but the paved roads make the driving time equal

We loved everything about Allan’s place. The home is lovely, big windows and lots of light. Nicely equipped kitchen with everything we needed. Clean and well maintained. We really loved the elevated deck to view the jungle and his garden is the perfect place to relax. Allan was very helpful in giving us tips and directions on things to do and see and places to eat. Had a perfect visit to this spectacular part of Costa Rica .
