Overview

About the property

4 Bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, sleeps 14 - Open Year Round!

The Blue Spruce Cabin is in a beautiful and quiet rural neighborhood surrounded by National Forest, but only minutes from the entrance to Yellowstone Park and the town of West Yellowstone. It has amazing views of the nearby mountains, and is in an area that is regularly frequented by Yellowstone wildlife.

This home is well equipped, with room for a larger family, but with a cozy and comfortable feel. It has three levels and plenty of space. It includes all of the comforts of home, including a full kitchen and full-sized washer/dryer, large screen TV's, wireless internet, a covered deck with barbeque grill, and a large yard.

The cabin offers spectacular mountain views with easy access to Hebgen Lake and the mountains of Gallatin National Forest. It is accessible by driving on a paved highway from the town of West Yellowstone and then taking a short 1/4 mile drive down a graded, maintained dirt road. It sits in a secluded area at the base of the mountains forming the Continental Divide, only 7.5 miles outside the town of West Yellowstone and the western entrance of Yellowstone National Park.

It is located in a small, quiet subdivision that is surrounded by Forest Service land. The Madison Arm of Hebgen lake, with a boat ramp, beaches, and swimming, is less than 4 miles away. All of the Park's animals also live and travel through the area, so it is not uncommon (depending on time of year) to see elk, moose, bear, fox, wolves, eagles and many other animals nearby. Groomed Forest Service snowmobile trails are accessible from the boundary of the subdivision, and snowmobiles can be ridden from the home in the winter. Cross country and backcountry skiing opportunities are also available right outside the door.

It is in a great location for staging any Yellowstone adventure, whether exploring the Park or the surrounding forests and lakes while skiing, hiking, snowmobiling, fishing, hunting, biking, boating... Almost any kind of outdoor adventure, you'll find it here. There's plenty to do in West Yellowstone too, for those not as outdoor inclined. You’ll love it!

  • 5 of 5

Perfect place for a guys trip, plenty of beds and showers. Great gathering area with a huge kitchen table, best meal of the trip was ribeyes cooked on the huge Weber grill. Big tv to watch the Olympics and snowmobile trails at the end of the road! Perfect!

Great property! Perfect for a big group.

  • 4 of 5

Nice house with great amenities. For a place that costs average “$248” per night, a $975 total for two nights was ridiculous. Too many fees

Cute, Family-Friendly Cabin

  • 5 of 5

The Blue Spruce Cabin is a perfect fit for a big family. The layout allows everyone to hang out together or spread out for more privacy. It's has a classic cabin feel with wood everything throughout. Our young kids loved playing hide and seek among the three floors. The gas grill was awesome. There are plenty of bathrooms that are updated and clean. The owners gave great tips on local info, clear instructions, were easy to deal with, and obviously care very personally for this property. The location is good--just five minutes from West Yellowstone. We had a black bear snoop around one night--we only knew because we found its prints in the fresh fallen snow, which was very exciting for us. We were very comfortable with 13 people, and we wish we had scheduled more time on our vacation to simply relax at the cabin. PS the were plenty of extra blankets and hooks for hanging coats and anything hangable! We will be back!

Best rental house and beautiful property

  • 5 of 5

We 13 people group absolutely loved our stay at the Blue Spruce Cabin and enjoyed three days stay. Everything was very clean and in great condition. The cabin is well equipped and managed; it is very convenient for us to access Yellowstone quickly each day.

We cooked breakfast and dinner most days at the cabin and the kitchen was very well stocked.

We highly recommend this cabin, especial for the large group people!
