Harmony Loft is in the very heart of downtown Asheville. I love the warm energy of the loft and its vibrant setting in the historic S&W building just across from Pritchard Park. Staying here is one of life's joys, and I am very glad to have the opportunity to share it with you!
As you enter the S&W building, you see the beautiful S&W Artisanal, a Greek themed restaurant featuring cafeteria style dining as well as a full menu, bar, and mezzanine seating in the upper level. There is also a bar to the left, called The Times of S&W. In the lower level of the building you will find Ellington Underground, a progressive live music club.
The area is packed with dining, galleries, museums, shopping, breweries, bars, and lots of beautiful downtown architecture. The park across the street features a drum circle on Friday nights. The central location makes for a great home base as you venture out to explore local attractions like the Biltmore Estate, the Blue Ridge Parkway and Pisgah National Forest.
Please note that the Loft has only one bed, and total occupancy is based on two in the bed and two on the sleeper sofa. Please take this into account if you are planning a trip with four guests. Music in the night club can get loud and run late, so this should also be considered.
Our property is managed by Pete Key Properties, a local real estate firm with lots of their own rentals. They are here to help and they can answer any questions you may have about the Loft, about the area, and about booking. They are the new managers, which is why we do not have any reviews yet.

The property manager was very helpful.
The vacation rental was spotless.
I was very happy with the location.
I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
Fantastic apartment. A few negatives: -front door needs a handle of some sort. Difficult to close without one. -clothes dryer is inefficient. Socks we put in it were still wet after four hours. -there are small gaps in drywall near ceiling allowing noise from adjacent apartments to seep in. We heard (among other things) full conversations, a toddler yelling and singing, and an adult fighting a terrible illness who coughed constantly. -nightclub in basement can be heard on some nights. My wife said she also felt the vibrations!
We are installing a lock with a built in handle to resolve that issue. As far as the issue wit the dryer unfortunately with the building being a historic downtown loft there is no way to vent the dryer outside so it does take longer for things to dry. Please keep that in mind and allow for extra time. We spoke wit the owner and she is looking into ways to help soften the noise. We will be providing a white noise machine as a first step.
