Welcome to paradise at this contemporary Puako oceanfront home, situated to feature the stunning Pacific view and designed to invite the refreshing tropical breeze. Your friends and family can enjoy any of the three seaside bedrooms or the garden bedroom recently added, each featuring sliding glass doors opening to the outside. While you savor the sunset, watch the kids splashing in the pool. Prepare a meal of fresh local fish and island grown produce in the fully equipped kitchen or on the gas barbeque grill. Or have one of our talented local chefs come to you! For six years, guests have been delighting in this bit of paradise… where the relaxing rhythm of island life meets the modern conveniences that you have come to expect.
This 2200 square foot home was built just 10 years ago with an additional bedroom and bathroom added in fall of 2012, giving it even more room. The home was designed in old Hawaii plantation style with a roomy 1100 square feet of lanai, screens and sliders that open full length plus louvered windows to encourage the tropical trade winds to maintain the home at a comfortable temperature without the use of air conditioning. A seawall on the ocean side of the home protects the landscape from salt-water damage so the lush tropical flora flourishes. The dipping pool outside the north bedroom wing is the perfect spot to refresh after a day of golf or tennis at one of the nearby resorts. Between two tall coconut palms, sway in the cozy hammock while listening to the melody of the rolling waves. The covered lanai features built-in cushioned seating for two, teak lounge chairs and dining table, plus a serving area with sink.
Stepping through the front door, the great-room’s ocean view will stop you in your tracks as you “ooh and ahh” over the colorful Pacific view. This room is a kitchen/living room combination designed so you can enjoy your guests or family while preparing a meal or a tall cool beverage. The modern kitchen has ample counter and cupboard space as well as top-of-the-line large and small appliances. Thoughtfully provided serving dishes and utensils are at your fingertips. Adjacent to the kitchen is the seating area featuring a plush down sofa and love seat, built in bookcases, flat screen TV, stereo with surround sound and a DVD Player. Wireless high speed Internet service is available throughout the home.
The spacious master bedroom with private bath is located on the south side of the home. Some of the convenient features are: built in closets, drawers and shelves, a bamboo desk, Hawaiian quilt on the king size bed, delightful local art, sliding glass door to the lanai, telephone and television. The adjoining master bath has double sinks, tiled walk-in shower, and a separate door leading outside.
Additional two bedrooms are located at the north end of the home. Accessible from a long hallway, both bedrooms are oceanfront with sliding glass doors opening onto the patio and pool area. Bedroom One features a queen-bed and a twin-sized bed, a comfy chair for reading or relaxing, telephone, and a stereo/DVD player. Bedroom Two has a queen-bed, desk, television, telephone and a teak lounge chair just outside on the porch. These bedrooms share one and half additional baths conveniently located just down the hall. The recently added fourth bedroom has a stunning garden view and private full bathroom.
