Our beautiful one bedroom condo at Hale Kamaole in Kihei is comfortable and spacious at 850 square feet, and can accommodate two adults in the king sized bed (new mattress in 2015) and two others on the pull out couch in the living room.
Our recent full renovation makes this condo feel like a brand new unit. It’s on the ground floor unit, so we walk directly out onto open, landscaped grounds - and within no more than 2 minutes walk from our unit (literally) you are at the beach - the first of the three Kamaole beaches that are a great walk during the day and wonderful for swimming and snorkeling. The complex itself has two swimming pools, one tennis court (free), and open barbeque areas where guests often gather to cook and socialize in the evenings. It’s a truly magical place where families, newly-weds and friends come for vacations.
Guests at our unit are provided with everything they need for a great vacation. We provide bath and beach towels of course, but we also have a lanai (balcony) closet full of beach supplies: chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, cooler, sand toys, snorkeling equipment, even a skim board!
Kihei is on the southern side of Maui, on the slopes of Haleakala, and is without question the sunniest part of the island. Hale Kamaole is located at the southern-most end of Kihei - pretty much the last complex in Kihei before reaching the resort community of Wailea. In fact, there’s a lovely ocean path directly across from Hale Kamaole to walk to Wailea – driving, it’s about 5 minutes. There’s so much to do on Maui - sightseeing, snorkeling, surfing, golf, fishing, sailing, hiking, windsurfing, shopping – or nothing at all. If you want to do it all there’s an activities desk at the complex that will help you arrange any trips or outings you want. If you want to do nothing but hang out on the beach you can do that at Hale Kamaole, and then you won’t even need a car. Once you get here from the airport the beach, shopping and restaurants are all within walking distance, if that’s your preference. Maui no ka oi!
