Why Kay Kuzma chose Big Creek
Norris Lake is the cleanest TVA lake and is a highly desirable vacation destination for those who enjoy lake living, water skiing, and fishing. The Big Creek area #5 on the lake is quiet, away from tourist activities, and is great for swimming in the clear water.
What makes this Chalet unique
This is a writer's paradise! And perfect for those who love children and family activities. The view is incredible, and the main level is handicap friendly.

This property is a wonderful location. Has great layout and space for a large group.
Have stayed several years now and am planning to do so again in 2017. Kitchen is well supplied with plenty of cooking utensils and dishes. The roofed boat dock provides shade when wanted. Easy to work with owner and a handyman is only a phone call away.
We were excited about our trip to Norris, and have been there before. The pictures looked great and we chose the house based on the size and bedroom layout. It seemed ok when we got there, but after taking a closer look, the place was not very clean. And it wasn't just about dust or some crumbs. It seemed the place as not had a deep cleaning in some time. We found a roach in the kitchen, and the showers smelled musty and disgusting. The worst part, however, was after returning from our trip, ALL the kids who used the indoor hot tub and indoor resistance pool developed a rash. We found out that it was actually a staph infection due to an imbalance in the chemicals in the water.....or lack there of. Still, the worst part was after emailing the owner, telling her how we liked the house except for the cleanliness and the kids developing the rash, she responded with a defensive email. She even said the bug was a water bug...but how would she know! Since she lives FAR away, I was only emailing her to let her know that the cleaning crew is not doing a great job and to check out the hot tub and pool chemicals for future families. I do NOT recommend this place to ANYONE. We are still dealing with medical bills for our son due to his staph infection.
I'm sorry the children got an infection. The hot tub chemical balance is checked on a weekly basis and is emptied and refilled on a regular basis. A quick call to the local Chalet manager would have remedied any problem immediately.
Great location on a wonderful lake
Wonderful Family Vacation!!
This was a great 'reunion' vacation for our large family. Wonderful view of the lake. Very nice layout in the house for being together as a group (for our evening devotions) and for meals. But there is also plenty of space and privacy when needed. Loved the dock for swimming and sunning and REALLY appreciated having a boat lift! The location provides sun the entire day. The water quality at Norris is unmatched--deep, clear and clean. We even appreciated the steps for the exercise they provided. EVERYONE had a wonderful time and we are planning our return trip.
This house was amazing! It was perfect for our group. Clean, spacious and beautiful. The basketball hoop in the driveway and the 2-story boat deck were great. When we come back to Norris Lake this will be the first place I inquire about!
