Location was the only good thing about this place. If you are allergic to dust or mold, go elsewhere

We got no notification on entering the house, We arrived and called three numbers to finally reach Lenga's husband who gave us the code. Lenga stated she sent an email but I'm still waiting for that.... The house was constantly damp. Water was on the floor from the fridge and at the base of the toilet. We alerted the owners and they sent someone out about 36 hours later (or so they said) to deal with the toilet. The fridge unit had been left open so the temp inside was 59 degrees and that supposedly caused the water seepage. On the second night at about 3:10 am, I was awakened to shaking and loud humming from the freezer. I opened and closed the freezer several times and it finally stopped and there was water all over the floor again. I think it was trying to make ice but the water and ice features don't work. Dust is along all of the baseboards and it just feels constantly dirty. The sprinkler system started at 10 pm the first night which shook the back wall and it sounded as if someone was taking a shower in the living room. I promptly turned that off until we left and then turned it back on when exiting. The sheets and bedding always felt cold and wet. I couldn't figure out how to adjust the thermostat and make it stay. It was 48 degrees in the house when we woke up one morning. There was very little extra bedding and the blankets were thin, summer weight blankets in January. There were three twin beds in one room and no dresser space. A small nightstand had a drawer but it was filled with old alarm clocks and junk. we had to live out of suitcases and one twin bed blocked the closet so it was difficult to hang things up and access them.. There was no coffee, plastic wrap, bags, ANYTHING in the kitchen so I guess we were expected to bring EVERYTHING to include handsoap, hand towels, bath mat and washcloths as those didn't exist either . There were six plastic glasses total but about 30 punch cups with a punch bowl and some silver-plate items that collected dust and were useless. The cable didn't work on the third day and the TV stated that the carrier needed to be reached to restart service. My grandson started coughing and developed a rash under his nose. We all had headaches and were coughing whenever we were in the house: MOLD. The house is close to the beach/highway access and is in a safe area. It's best to walk to the beach as you have to pay to park anywhere. If you plan on cooking, bring EVERYTHING you need with you. It was awful.

Great Cottage house

  • 5 of 5

Stayed there for 3 days and it was great and perfect house for a family of 5! House is equipped with everything, all you need to bring is clothes & food. It is also walking distance to Main St. David & Lenga were super nice and attentive! I would definitely stay there again!

cozy cottage

  • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay, it was close to everything we needed-easy to find, was stocked with everything we needed so we felt like we were staying in a friends house. I'd give it 5 stars but it could use to be hit with a deep clean is all, baseboards, walls etc.. everything else was nice, the owners were attentive, easy to get ahold of them if we needed something (which we didn' t) but I felt like they'd have anything solved if we did. The little courtyard is so well kept, its very charming. I'd stay there again, and would recommend it to anyone.

Perfect cozy family cottage

  • 5 of 5

This cottage was everything I hoped it would be and more. Main Street was a short walk away from the house with full access to the pier and beach. The space was clean, well suited for our family of four. The outdoor seating area was so nice for enjoying time with additional family. The neighborhood was very quiet and parking was easy! We also enjoyed the park only a few minutes away. The owners were so kind and made sure we had everything we needed. All kitchen supplies were available to cook all the meals we wanted. Bonus for us was a full size washer and dryer in the garage, extra beach toys, and a wagon to carry it all to the beach. I would definitely rent here again. It was so centrally located to all our scheduled activities over the course of our stay. The bed in the main bedroom will need to be replaced soon but, we still slept okay. Cross breeze with doors and windows was delightful. Thank you for everything!!!
