This Historical Home was built in around 1893. Totally renovated, with all the charm of New Orleans. Our New Orleans house is very spacious with new furniture and all the making of a comfortable home.

The Historical Bywater neighborhood is an artsy area with easy access to the Quarter, Frenchman St, Crescent Park, cafes, restaurants, grocery, park, and bars all within walking distance.

Welcome, and enjoy our Historic Bywater neighborhood.

We are close enough to the French Quarter to walk (15 -20-minute walk), but still far enough to not have the noise, expensive parking and activity of the French Quarter. If the walk is too much just call UBER FOR AROUND $6-10.00 (taxi), or rent a BLUE bike 1/2 block away.

History mixed with modern amenities! The home features 12 - foot ceilings, and original wood floors and ceramic tiles in the wet areas. The living room is done in a Modern take of traditional style. All other rooms are designed in festive colors to bring a fun environment for a fun vacation.

To stay at The Ritz Colton Place will allow you to not only see New Orleans but will allow you to live the New Orleans experience.

Our home is a vacation rental for a nice place to stay while you are in our home. We do not allow any parties, receptions, functions, and anything in that order. Sorry, but we are in a Historical Neighborhood, and we must respect our neighbors.

About Tony and Cathy

My husband and I were born and raised only minutes from New Orleans known as St. Parish. Our families were fishermen and farmers. We grew up on the bayou where we learned to live off the land. This led us to start a seafood business selling and shipping shrimp, crab, oysters, and fish primarily to New Orleans and Baltimore allowing our families and us to share our love with the beautiful city of New Orleans.

Then, in 2005 Hurricane Katrina hit and in a flash, our life’s work was torn apart and we lost everything. Literally everything. Determined to stay in New Orleans we started over and our new endeavor was born. Hurricane Katrina forced our hand into an adventure we never thought were able to do, but it’s become the most enjoyable and rewarding experience we’ve ever had. A true blessing in disguise. The joy of seeing our guest enjoy our New Orleans culture warms our hearts!

Owner's Response: Glad you enjoyed our place and the neighborhood. We love it there also, every chance we get we stay at one of our rentals in Bywater. It's a very quiet neighborhood and so close to the French Quarter and Frenchmen Street. It's a hidden GEM!
