Beautiful newly remodeled condo right in the heart of the action - super responsive owner!
We stayed in this beautifully remodeled unit and loved being in the heart of the action of Harbourtown. The unit is brand new and the owner is putting finishing decorative touches on, but this did not detract at all from our time there. Anything we needed we found that the Owner was extremely responsive and helpful. This unit is located above the General Store so the view is over the General Store parking lot and the awesome playground. You can see a tiny slice of the water if you look out at just the right angle.
We stayed during the busy spring break week and the only downside we had on the unit was that it was incredibly noisy with the activity from about 7 am until 10-11 pm there is constant noise and activity you can hear in the unit from the activity below (again it may have been heightened due to spring break week). If you plan to spend most of your time outside enjoying the activities like we did this is no issue, but we did find at times in the evening we would have preferred a quieter location.
Parking is also crazy (at least the week we were there)!! There are a few spots designated for Mariner's Way, where the unit is located, but the parking lot is jammed from 10 am to 10 pm. If we did leave, when we returned it was common for my husband to drop us off and then leave to go search for a parking spot. Highly recommend using the Trolley and biking whenever possible in place of moving your car.
If you do choose to rent via Homeaway/VRBO vs through Sea Pines one obvious price difference we figured out was that via Homeaway you have to go to buy a pool pass at the Fitness center ($43 per person, weekly passes only) which are included in a rental via Sea Pines.
Overall great unit that has been beautifully remodeled and would definitely recommend!
