Wonderful getaway cottage

  • 5 of 5

We could have not asked for a nicer place to stay as we explored San Francisco and the surrounding area. The cottage was well furnished and comfortable. Location was great too, close to highway 101, easy to get to SF or over to the coast and north to the big trees. Great vacation home and nice owners.

Lovely place, better then staying at a hotel

  • 5 of 5

Absolutely loved the cottage. We stayed there mid November for my nieces wedding. The location was perfect! It's conveniently located off of the freeway but it's tucked into a quiet neighborhood. It was so quiet that we were able to sleep in. The property is well maintained and the bed with sofa sleeper was excellent for two adults and a child. It was great to have a kitchen and laundry. The double bed was surprisingly comfortable. The owner had basic cooking seasoning, oil and everything you need to cook with. He also had microwave that came in handy. The cottage is conveniently located to grocery stores, coffee shops and restaurants. 'Not too far from Sonoma and SAN Francisco for a day trip. Bodega bay isn't far either.

Definetly recommend for couples and families. He owner was friendly and made it easy for us to check in late at night. The deposit process was simple as well!

Awesome spot! Highly reccommended :)

  • 5 of 5

This is a perfect spot. Ron was very nice and helpful, anytime we needed anything or had questions, and gave us our privacy too! The cottage itself is exactly as it appears, very charming, adorable, and accommodating. Plenty of room for our family with three adults and four kids! Super close to everything we wanted, an hour from San Francisco, and 10 minutes to everything you could need, shopping, restaurants, family fun, etc. We absolutely loved this place!! Definitely not one of those properties where the pics are deceiving.

Great Weekend Away

  • 5 of 5

Definitely recommend staying here! We booked with Ron and the process was super easy. This cottage is great for a weekend getaway for couples, families, or a group of friends. The cottage is cozy, but definitely had enough space for the 6 of us staying there. We arrived Friday for a weekend of wine tasting and were so happy to have such a great place to stay that was safe, comfortable, and cozy. I'll definitely recommend it to others from out of town and plan on booking again for my next visit. Thanks, Ron!

A really great vacation cottage!

  • 5 of 5

I stayed there too long ago to put the right date in, so I fibbed. The first time I was there was November 2011, then November 2012. We REALLY like the Sage Hen's cottage. With the firepit, kitchen and the grill we can keep ourselves entertained and fed without going out for dinner every night. Ron is always a real pleasure to talk to, and he always lets us collect guavas, which fall off the plants by the driveway in November, and are delicious. Cotati is a very convenient place if you're interested in driving to points of interest from Point Reyes to Healdsburg. We do a combination of hiking and wine tastings, so being able to get to a lot of places is important.
