Soak up the culture of the new and old Mission in this central location. Quaint two-story Victorian, unusually large landscaped front and back yard and garden with gated entry.
Guest access through front wrought iron gates, through the garden and into the lower level unit. Spacious living area with Smart TV and WiFi for guest use. Dining table large enough to seat four, and a fully equipped kitchen. Access to back patio from apartment, as well as shared washing machine and dryer with upstairs tenants. Two separate bedrooms, one with queen-sized bed and other with double-sized bed.
This home is for guests who want to be centrally located and understand that staying in the Mission means visiting a vibrant, active neighborhood! Ideal location for families traveling with children, people looking to move to the city and wanting explore before relocating, and professionals coming to work in the city, silicon valley and the Bay Area in general.

This Victorian is a 2-level home. The garden apartment is the unit for guests with the upstairs unit occupied by long-term tenants. Please note that these tenants have children and there will be occasional sounds from the upper unit. Kindness and consideration to each other is appreciated. Please no smoking or parties in the house. Well-behaved pets will be considered with additional deposit.
You will be in the center of San Francisco’s Mission District. Walk a few blocks west and on the corner of Valencia and 20th Street check out Dog Eared Books. Within a four block radius, eaterys, exercise and local stores abound. Restaurants and bars such as Flour + Water, Central Kitchen, Universal Café, Blowfish Sushi, Salumeria, Atlas Café, Sightglass Coffee, Trick Dog, Blue Bottle Café, Foreign Cinema, The Homestead, Southern Pacific Brewing, just to name a few. Eat and catch a movie as well as food and drinks at Mission’s newest Alamo Drafthouse Cinema; head over to San Francisco’s oldest continually operating theater, Roxie Theatre off of Valencia; walking distance to Dolores Park, or make your way to the registered historical landmark Castro Theatre for live organ music before watching a movie.
Exercise at Moxie Yoga & Fitness, check out rock climbing and the fitness center at Mission Cliffs, Mission Yoga, or HIT Fit SF (all within less than 3 blocks). Play indoor miniature golf at Urban Putt or bowl at Mission Bowling Club, both within a short walking distance. The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and Asian Art Museum are each less than 3 miles away. Check out Golden Gate Park and head to the de Young Museum or just across its way the California Academy of Sciences, all less than 4.5 miles away. Groceries within walking distance at Gus’s Community Market, Rainbow Foods, Whole Foods, and all the delights of Mission Street, including local favorites for ice cream at Humphry Slocombe or Bi-Rite Creamery. Or use Instacart for deliveries of any groceries you might need. And, if you like, a thriving nightlife with bars, clubs and music venues throughout the city.
Easy access to transportation (Muni stop #12 on Folsom, #24 on Mission Street, #47 & #Van Ness just to name a few) to downtown just a block away, and BART a few blocks away@16th or 24th Streets and Mission (with access to Muni as well), and Caltrain a short distance away via muni .
