Captain's Quarters Long Hollow

The layout of the home is perfect for a family with kids or an extended family with grown children. The kitchen is perfectly appointed and we were able to cook an entire Thanksgiving dinner without needing to buy any pan, plate or utensil. The backyard is large and partially fenced- it was an excellent playground for our dog, Herbie. The first floor laundry room is also an asset. The motor home parked in the driveway, and plugged in, gave us pause, as did the home security system, which seemed to be over-riding our thermostat settings and announcing our every move. It also chirped and listed strange comments throughout the week that made us feel more unsafe than safe. And for the price, we did not expect to find some of the maintenance issues from a window taped up with plastic, unpainted, harshly plastered holes in the wall, an ice machine that didn't work etc...We also did not know the pool was unheated. It was in the 60's while we were there and being from Wisconsin, we would have worked out in the pool! I can see how the pool would be great for families in the warm weather. No need to leave the property. That being said, we enjoyed our time together there as a family and the owner was very responsive when we had questions or concerns.

Exactly what me and my friends were looking for! A charming property out of the way of the hustle and bustle, but close enough to town for a short commute. The house was pleasantly equipped with many state of the art appliances and security features and was more than spacious for the 4 of us. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for their own space; especially if you want to see the greater Tennessee area!

Our group of ladies thoroughly enjoyed our stay! With the hot August weather the pool and beautiful property was perfect. Jimmy met us at the house and provided a tour. Written information was helpful as well with emergency contacts and guest expectations. I would definitely recommend for families and group stays. 25 minute drive into the city (Ride services readily available). Slept 10 comfortably. Well stocked kitchen.

The house was great. It is a little outside of the city. But Uber & Lyft rides were only about 20 minutes to downtown Nashville. Grocery stores, restaurants & shopping all real close.

Pool was awesome and all ammenites were great!
