The Olympic Discovery Trail (ODT) is an amazing trail that spans over 120 miles starting in Port Townsend and ending at the Pacific Ocean nears Forks. Visitors have quick access to one of many trailheads two miles from their front door at Tall Treehouse. Walk, run or bike along amazing views of Sequim Bay. While in Port Townsend, hop on one of the many ODT trailheads to see Discovery Bay and Port Townsend Bay.
But don't just stop at the ODT trailhead near Tall Treehouse, go a little further down the road and enjoy the Dockside Grill at John Wayne marina. You will enjoy wonderful food and an amazing view of Sequim Bay.
Festivals and celebrations are unending. At any given time, visitors are encouraged to google activities. Port Townsend hosts the annual Olympic Music Festival every summer at the Wheeler Theatre at historic Fort Worden. Sequim is famous for its annual Lavender Festival. However, no festival is needed to visit the Lavender Farm on the way to Port Angeles or their retail store, Purple Haze, in downtown Sequim.
