The property was perfect!!
It was very nice. Nice and clean and everything you would need was there!! I really enjoyed it can’t wait to go back next year!!
It was exactly what we needed. Small but very sufficient and relaxing.
The house is perfect for a couple or e people. It’s small but have everything that you need. Sunrise is amazing and you’ll come back very relaxed.
Fantastic family weekend
Beautiful view. Good fishing right from the dock. Beautifuly decorated. Comfortable furnishings and beds. LOTS of towels!!! Really enjoyed the dock and the screened in porch. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook every meal. Had a wonderful time and have already recommended it to two of our friends.
Peaceful and relaxing
This was our first time to use HomeAway and we were happy with it. Stacy was very helpful with directions and was there to greet us when we arrived from a long drive from Houston. The house had everything that we needed for our stay and all we needed to do was bring our own food. The house is located directly on the lake in a quiet community and definitely DID have the most amazing sunrise. We enjoyed spending time fishing, grilling on the screened in back porch, and enjoying nature while we were there. We would recommend this cottage to anyone who is looking to get away from the humdrum of city life. You won't be disappointed!
Take a day to explore the beautiful city of Ocala. Rent a canoe or kayak to float along one of the freshwater rivers in Dunnellon such as the Rainbow River. Take a glass-bottom boat ride through Silver Springs on the east side of Ocala.
For pristine beaches visit one of our many beaches, such as Daytona, Ormond, St. Petersburg, Clearwater and St Augustine. For those visiting in the spring, be sure to get tickets to the Tampa Bay Blues Festival hosted at the St. Petersburg Waterfront Vinoy Park.
There are numerous theme parks, fine restaurants, shopping, outlet malls etc in Orlando and Tampa which are about 1.5 hours away.
Gainesville, home of our Florida Gators, is another beautiful city about 45 minutes drive north on I75.
Located along Florida’s “Nature Coast,” Crystal River is a popular destination among both tourists and locals for its unique opportunities and abundant wildlife. Swim with the manatees, snorkeling, fishing all are available. Visit one of the Florida State Parks and enjoy our wildlife at the Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park and stop by the Freezer for some delicious shrimp! A must!
