Great Location for North of Atlanta Stay
This location was perfect for our stay north of Atlanta. House is sparingly furnished but that gives it a large open feel. Beds were comfortable, except for serrated knife kitchen was also nicely equipped. House sits on lots of land, most undeveloped, so expect insects to get in. After first night we were careful not to leave door open for extended time. Once we cleared insect out we had no problem remainder of stay.
Only issue we had was with cleaning. Person responsible did not complete cleaning task (no towels, wash clothes, dirty dishes). I contact owner who said normal person that cleans place was on vacation prior to our arrival and she had hired a substitute to clean.
Overall, wife was cool on the place but sisters and I would stay here again.
Very cute and clean home. No problems communicating with Jessica and she responded to questions/concerns within 24 hours. Thank Jessica for an awesome stay!
It was okay
We contracted the owner several days before arriving that the grass was over grown. My daughter lives about 10 minutes away & drove by. She thought the house was abandon because of the yard. The owner said it would be taken care before we arrived on Saturday. It wasn't cut until Monday interfering with our time.
Wednesday night of our stay, we came back to water pouring from the hallway ceiling. We were told that someone would be out the next day and they could get in if we weren't there. We left around 4pm and was contacted later that we should have left the key in the lock box because they couldn't get in. We were never told this before. So Thursday afternoon someone finally shows up to fix it, but by that time there were two big leaks of water pouring out of the light fixtures in the hallway. Ceiling, walls and floor were damaged.
Also, there wasn't a knive or baking dish, or even a pot holder in the kitchen. Made cooking very difficult.
For the amount of money I paid I was disappointed
Awesome stay, lovely property
My family and I were celebrating my birthday and hadn't seen each other since Thanksgiving. The property was lovely and response time from Jessica was great! The only thing was the TV. We are crazy Houston sports fans and the only way you can watch anything other than Netflix and Rocku unless you have a streaming account. Thank God my children are tech savvy I'm a 70's baby so I was freaking out. Other than that its perfect! If ever I'm back in the area I would love to stay there again! Thank you Jessica!!!
Nicely remodeled home, but needs just a bit more
Very convenient location, clean, and nicely remodeled. We were surprised by the inflatable bed (that should be mentioned in the property description) in one of the bedrooms and lack of sheets for it. The kitchen could be better equipped so that you can actually cook and serve a meal (e.g., cookie sheet, glass casserole dishes, sharp knives, more dishes and mugs, etc). The furniture in the living area should be rearranged to facilitate having a group conversation. Due to the weather, we did not get a chance to check out the trails, fire pit, or gazebo. We would consider staying again should we visit this area.
