Hardwood floors and walls create a rugged romantic feel as you are cuddling up to the gas fireplace or relaxing in your king size bed complete with luxury linens.

Retreat outside on the covered porch to enjoy the 6-person hot tub, corn hole, and gas grill, or to just relax around the gas fire pit.

The cabin has a new TV, DVD, and lots of movies. Due to the remoteness of the cabin, there is no wifi or cell service. We also have central air conditioning for those hot days.

You will experience a calm feeling as soon as you walk through our door because we set it up to make you feel like we would want to feel … WELCOME!

You’ll find our rates and availability listed above or contact us directly on our contact page.

The doors have electronic locks. The code is emailed to you prior to check-in.

There are a lot of extra towels, bed linens, and pillows in the bedroom closet. All of the pillows are in cases to protect against dust mite, water, allergy, bacteria, bed bug etc. They can be mistaken as pillow cases. If you use any of the extra pillows please grab a pillowcase out of the dresser and then leave on the bed.

Upon checkout, please grab any cushions on the outdoor seating that are not under one of the covered porches and put them up on one of the covered porches. This way if it rains the next quest will have dry seating.

There is a corn hole game on the covered porch. If you use it please again, just place back under the covered porch in case it rains.

Other than that, just tidy up after yourself.

Very nice cabin

  • 4 of 5

We've stayed in a ton of cabins in Hocking Hills over the years. This one was definitely one of the nicest.....lots of adorable details, very nice space around the cabin, and a lovely basket of "goodies" waiting for us when we arrived. Both front and back porches are charming, with a "sundeck" in the back, which boasts a gas-fire pit....delightful. This is the only cabin we've stayed in that had fuzzy robes waiting for us in the bedroom (may seem a small detail, but we were thrilled!)

The only things that you might consider, is there were not a lot of cooking utensils. We brought corn on the cob, but there was not a pot to cook it in, and there was only a small frying pan, so it you want to fry anything bigger than an egg, bring a larger pan....small details, but just some things we encountered. The biggest drawback, and might be a deterrent, at least for us, is that the whole time we were there, not more than a hundred feet away, backhoes, bulldozers, front loaders, and many people were working from morning till night, so it wasn't exactly private. I understand, the owners have no control over what happens on the adjoining property, but we assume another cabin is being built there so this cabin will, disappointingly, not be secluded anymore. :( However, if that's not an issue for you, the actual cabin and grounds around it, are quite comfortable and lovely. Great little hideout in the woods

  • 5 of 5

The property is as described. We greatly enjoyed the hot tub! My only suggest for the Cabin would be a few more pots & pans. We only found one small skillet and one small/medium pot( and a baking sheet which we didn't need). Otherwise, it had everything we needed. It was very easy to get there following gps and the owners contacted us with the information to get in. The hocking hills area, for hiking in Ohio, really can't be beat. Excellent trails & waterfalls. The simplistic beauty is exactly what we needed for a spectacular girls trip!
